Tommaso Ciampa vs Angel Garza
Tommaso Ciampa comes out for his first match since March this year. Big pop as his name gets announced. Garza charges to start the match but Ciampa drops him first with a big shoulder tackle. Fast action continues and Garza hits an enziguri. Ciampa launches Garza into the apron, the barrier, and then over to the floor again. Back in the ring, Ciampa goes for a Fairytale Ending but Garza rams him back into the corner. Garza follows with a big dropkick to the left knee in the corner.
Garza sends Ciampa out to the floor and dives on him. Back again and Garza hits a missile dropkick. Ciampa counters and unloads. He drops Garza in the corner, charges in with a big knee to the face, sending Garza to the outside. Ciampa stomps away on Garza’s Mexican flag now and continues to disrespect it. He hits his finisher hanging DDT, the Willow’s Bell, to get the pin and win.
Winner- Tommaso Ciampa
After the match, all 4 members of The Undisputed Era come out. They march to ringside as Ciampa gets ready with a crutch in hand. O’Reilly goes to the commentary table and tosses them a USB drive. The Undisputed Era stares Ciampa and taunts him from the ramp. Mauro says he will get the USB stick to the production truck to air it on the show.
Back from the break, the video from the USB drive from the Undisputed ERA is aired. Adam Cole is talking trash to the camera backstage. We see The Velveteen Dream laid out on top of some boxes and Roderick Strong tells us that this is what he gets for getting in his way. Cole says the same thing will happen to Finn Balor if he becomes a problem.
Danny Birch & Oney Lorcan vs Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel)
Imperium dominates to start. Birch and Lorcan get some action before Aichner takes over. Imperium takes advantage with a double team attack in the corner. Birch fights out of a stretch plum by Barthel. Lorcan tags in and hits a series of European Uppercuts. Lorcan hits three suicide dives and tags Birch back in.
Birch and Lorcan get a nearfall via a double powerbomb. Lorcan tags back in. Barthel breaks up Magic Killer. Lorcan and Aichner trade blows. Aichner counters a Half & Half Suplex. Aichner and Barthel double team Lorcan. Aichner hits a standing moonsault and gets a nearfall. Lorcan hits a series of chops but gets hit with a Spinebuster and a Penalty Kick. Imperium hit the European Bomb for the pinfall.
Winners- Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Macel Barthel)
Mauro Ranallo sends us to a video package on Johnny Gargano where he says he will do whatever it takes to be NXT Champion again. Gargano is backstage with Cathy Kelley in a recorded interview. She asks about the history with Tommaso Ciampa and Gargano replies that it has been documented with all the ups and the downs. He won’t know how things are between them until he and Ciampa see each other face to face.
