NWA Women’s Title & NWA Worlds Title Match Set for NWA 75
NWA Women’s Championship match between Kamile and Natalia Markova, and NWA World Championship between Tyrus and EC3 are announced for NWA 75 PPV event.
During the July 11 episode of NWA Powerrr, Markova and Pretty Empowered got a win against Kamille, M95 (Madi Wrenkowski and Missa Kate), and Ruthie Jay with Pretty Empowered (Kenzie Paige, Kylie Paige, and Roxy). After the match was finished, the commentary team announced Kamile would defend her NWA Women’s title against Markova at NWA 75 night 1 on August 26.
Kamile has been dominating NWA’s women’s division for the past year and became NWA Women’s Champion at NWA When Our Shadows Fall event on June 6, 2021, by beating Serena Deeb. This will be third match between Markova and Kamile this year. They fought to a time-limit draw at Powerrr episode in April before Kamile retained her title at NWA Crockett Cup 2023 event.
The NWA world’s title match is also set between Tyrus and EC3 at NWA 75 event. During the main event of NWA Powerrr this week, EC3 successfully defended his National Heavyweight Title against ‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason.
After the match, EC3 dropped the title in the ring and the commentary team announced that EC3 had relinquish his National Heavyweight Title to get a match for NWA world title against Tyrus at NWA 75 event.
Tyrus is holding onto NWA World title since December 2022 after beating Matt Cardona and Trevor Murdoch. He has defended it successfully against Matt Cardona at NWA Nuff Said PPV and against Chris Adonis at NWA 312 event this year.
EC3 won the NWA National title at NWA 312 this year, and has since defended it four times before relinquishing it. It is not clear at the moment if his match against Tyrus will be on night 1 or night 2 of NWA 75.
The event is scheduled to take place on August 26 and 27 in St. Louis, MO. These are the only two matches to be officially announced for the show.
