NWA 75 Anniversary Show

NWA 75 was the 75th Anniversary PPV event of National Wrestling Alliance. The show took place over 2 nights on August 26, 2023, and August 27, 2023. Night 2 featured NWA World Championship match between Tyrus and EC3 in the main event. NWA Women’s Championship was in contest on both night 1 and night 2.

NOTES & STORYLINES

This was the 75th-anniversary show for NWA promotion, which started in 1948.

EC3 relinquished NWA National Heavyweight Championship on July 11 NWA Powerrr episode in order to get a title shot at NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The match was announced to take place on night 2 of NWA 75. The match was turned into a Bullrope match later and Tyrus also announced that he would leave NWA if he failed to retain the title.

Colby Corino won a 7-way scramble match to earn a title shot at NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship. He would get his title shot at NWA 75 against Kerry Morton on night 1. Corino won the title from Morton in that match. On night 2, he defended the title against Jack Cartwheel

NWA Women’s Championship was on the line on both night 1 and night 2 of the show. On night 1, Kamille successfully defended the title against Natalia Markova. Kenzie Paige won Burke Invitational Gauntlet match on night 1 to earn a title shot against Kamille on night 2. Kenzie Paige dethroned Kamille to end 813 days reign.

Blunt Force Trauma defeated La Rebellion to win NWA World Tag Team Championship on night 1. They defended the title against Knox and Murdoch on night 2.

The final of NWA United States Tag Team Championship Showdown took place on night 1 between Daisy Kill & Talos, and The Fixers(Jay Bradley and Wrecking Ball Legursky). Talos and Kill won that match, and they challenged The Country Gentlemen(AJ Cazana & Anthony Andrews) on night 2 for the titles.
