Welcome to the live results blog from NJPW Dominion 6.12(2022) event on June 12, 2022.

The main matches of the evening include the co-main event which will see Will Ospreay and Sanada clash over the vacant IWGP US Heavyweight title. This was earlier a triple threat match involving Juice Robinson, who held the title at that point, and is stripped off the title for refusing to appear on the show.

The main event will see the Leader of Bullet Club, Jay White, challenging the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. More members of Bullet Club will be in action as Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens challenges United Empire for IWGP World Tag Team titles.

House of Torture trio will be defending their NEVER trios title against Suzuki-Gun. Karl Anderson will challenge former Bullet Club member Tama Tonga for NEVER Openweight title. Anderson’s tag team partner Doc Gallows will face Toru Yano.

Hirooki Goto and Hiroshi Tanahashi will be fighting in AEW World title eliminator bout and the winner will face Jon Moxley at Forbidden Door PPV. Shingo Takagi will defend his KOPW Provisional Trophy in a 10-minute Scramble match where you need to get more pinfalls.

  • United Empire (TJP, Francesco Akira & Aaron Henare) defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi in a tag team match via submission.

Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi vs United Empire (TJP, Francesco Akira & Aaron Henare)

Quick start from TJP against Wato. Wato hits him moves early to send TJP to the floor and hits him with a dive. Tenzan and team hits TJP with double chops. Akira uses a distraction to attack Taguchi. United Empire takes over control against Taguchi. Taguchi comes back with a hip attack against TJP. Wato comes in and hits quick moves. Taguchi comes to assist a German suplex with a hip attack. TJP comes back with a driver and Mamba splash. Tenzan breaks the pin.

TJP hits knees on Wato in the corner until Taguchi cuts him off. Akira also gets involved to send Taguchi to the floor. Wato takes him down. Henare and Tenzan tag in. Tenzan gets better of the exchange with double chops. Tenzan hits a brainbuster on Henare to get a two-count. Henare counters chops with body shots. He then cuts off Tenzan’s charge with a spinebuster for a two-count. Henare puts on Full Nelson on Tenzan to get the submission.

Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi) vs BULLET CLUB (Ace Austin, El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori)

A brawl starts the match. Bullet Club corner Naito and nail him with quick attacks. Phantasmo stomps on Naito as the dust settles. Ishimori rakes his back. Phantasmo knocks off Takahashi and Bushi off the apron. Phantasmo shows off a bit before raking on the back. Austin rakes a cane off Naito’s back. Austin goes for the pin but Naito kicks out. Austin puts on headscissors submission before bringing Ishimori.

Ishimori works on his back until Naito also rakes his back. Tag to Hiromu and he hits Ishimori with a hurricanrana, whips Austin to the same corner and hits him with a dropkick. Ishimori is dropped in the middle before getting hit with a dropkick. They exchange forearms in the middle now. Takahashi hits a jumping knee and a clothesline. He goes for the bone lock. Ishimori hits back with a clothesline and a shotgun dropkick.

Bushi and Phantasmo come in. Bushi hits a dropkick to send him to the corner. Some back and forth action before Bushi hits a DDT. Phantasmo stops a lungblower and hits a superkick. Naito breaks the pin. Austin hits a penalty kick on Naito on the apron. He sweeps Hiromu and Naito with a dive. Phantasmo hits Bushi with CR2 to get the pin.

Toru Yano vs Doc Gallows

Gallows starts with a big kick. He throws some beer on Yano’s face. Yano is whipped to the corner and escapes to the floor. Yano tries to get under the ring but Gallows pulls him out and beats him up on the floor. Gallows slams him into the barricade. Yano gets out of the way as Gallows charges into a barricade. Yano gets into the ring and removes a turnbuckle pad. He throws it at Gallows but Gallows just throws it away and nails Yano with body shots.

A big headbutt from Gallows. Gallows misses a corner splash against the exposed turnbuckle. Gallows stops a body slam. Yano pulls the beard. He thinks he has hit an atomic drop on Gallows but Gallows was too big for it. Gallows drops him and then hits a choke bomb. Yano kicks out of the pin. Yano tries to hide behind the referee but Gallows nails him with a kick. Gallows gets on his back and Yano hits a low kick. Yano goes for a pin and gets it.

Winner – Toru Yano

Yano runs away immediately after the match.

HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi)(c) vs Suzuki-Gun (Yoshinobu Kanemaru, El Desperado & Zack Sabre Jr.) – Never Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship

Suzuki-Gun were ready to fend off any attack as they entered. And the attack did come. Sho and Kanemaru are the one to start the match. Kanemaru puts on figure four on Sho. Evil comes in and he is also put on in the figure four. Same fate goes for Takahashi. Dick Togo tries to interfere and he is also put in the figure four. Sho trips Kanemaru from the apron and pulls him out. House of Torture attack all the opponents. They work on Kanemaru by whipping him again and again into the exposed corner.

Kanemaru hits a low dropkick to counter Takahashi. Sho tags in and knocks off Sabre and Desperado. Evil puts on octopus stretch and gets a hand from Togo from the floor. Bullet Club trio continue to work on Kanemaru with quick tags. Kanemaru takes Sho’s eyes and drops him. Desperado and Sabre avoid getting dropped from the apron this time. They both work on Evil and Takahashi with some double team. Kanemaru puts on figure four on Sho. On the floor, Evil throws Desperado and Sabre into the barricade.

Evil distracts the referee and Takahashi chokes Kanemaru to break the submission. Sabre and Desperado come back to fight of HOT. Evil slams Sabre into the exposed corner but Desperado hits him with a spinebuster. Kanemaru gets a two-count with a roll-up. He hits a moonsault to get another close two-count. Kanemaru knocks off Togo from the apron now. Sho hits kicks on Kanemaru which was loaded with a wrench. He hits double underhook piledriver to get the pin.

BULLET CLUB(Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens)(c) vs United Empire(Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan)- IWGP World Tag Team Championship

GOK and Owens start the match. Some grappling attempts before Owens slaps GOK. GOK takes Owens down with double leg. Fale comes in and Khan hits him with a body slam. He puts on a D’Arce choke until Owens kicks his head off. Cobb is knocked to the floor. Fale and Owens work on Khan in their corner. Fale stands on top on Khan with both legs. He covers to get a two-count. Owens gets in and continue to work on Khan. Khan goes for a claw slam but Owens counters with a pin. He tries to use the ropes again for the pin but Cobb stops that move.

Cobb is once again knocked to the floor. Fale misses a corner splash but he stops Khan from tagging out. Khan hits Mangolian chops on Fale. Owens comes in and eats more chops. Khan trips Fale and hits a splash on the back. Cobbs tags in. Cobbs hits clotheslines, back elbow and a belly-to-belly suplex on Owens. Fale hits him with punches but misses in the corner. Cobb hits him with a scoop and a slam. Fale stops a suplex and tackles Cobb. Owens tags in and drops Cobb with a clothesline. Cobb hits back with a spin back suplex. Fale knocks off Khan from the apron. Owens and Fale with some tandem attack on Cobbs. Khan is hit with a dropkick on the floor.

Cobb nails Fale with an elbow. He hits elbows and forearms on Fale and Owens. Fale hits him with a boot and Owens takes him down with clothesline. Cobb kicks out of the pin. Khan comes in to hit Mangolian Chops. Fale and Khan end up on the floor. Owens misses in the corner but nails Cobb with C-trigger. Cobb avoids the package driver. Fale hits a corner splash on Cobb. Owens and Fale hit Cobb with a combination of body slam and kick. Khan stops thumb to the throat on Cobb. Owens also gets tripped as Fale lands on the ropes. Khan clotheslines Fale to the floor. He hits an avalanche German suplex on Owens. Cobb hits Tour of the Island on Owens to get the pin and the win.

Rocky Romero tries to attack United Empire but they were too good for him.

Hirooki Goto vs Hiroshi Tanahashi – AEW Interim Championship Eliminator

They start with some grappling and side headlocks. Tanahashi hits the first kick to midsection and follows with more punches. Goto turns it around with a clothesline. Tanahashi is sent to the floor. Tanahashi is driven into the barricade before getting hit with a lariat. Back to the ring, Goto keeps him down with punches and elbows. Goto hits a spinning kick in the corner and a bulldog. Goto puts on a chinlock and keeps Tanahashi on the mat.

Tanahashi gets to his feet and drops Goto with a big shot. He hits a scoop and slam before a senton from the second rope. Tanahashi breaks Goto’s momentum with a dropkick to the knee. Goto hits a back drop suplex. Tanahashi hits him with a dragon screw. Both men are down now. They get back to their feet and start trading forearm strikes. Goto slaps Tanahashi and gets hit with an even bigger slap for Tanahashi to go down. Goto counters slingblade with Ushi-Garoshi.

Tanahashi counters another Ushi-Garoshi into a slingblade now. Tanahashi charges in but Goto puts on the second rope to drop him with an elbow to the chest. Goto hits a mid kick at the chest. Tanahashi kicks out of a roll. Tanahashi hits another big slap. He follows up with a slingblade to get a close two-count. Tanahashi gets up on the top and hits a crossbody. He hits a splash from the top to get the pin.

Shingo Takagi(c) vs Taichi – 10 Minute Scramble for KOPW 2022 Provisional Trophy

Taichi starts with a high boot. They trade shot after shot. They resort to chops now. Shingo nails straight right jabs. They trade high boots now. Shingo hits a shoulder tackle and Taichi knocks him out with another big boot. Taichi drops Shingo with a hook kick. Shingo gets up and Taichi plays possom to get two counts. Shingo gets 1 point with backslide and two more with an inside cradle. Shingo hits a suplex to get two more. Shingo 5-2 Taichi.

Shingo puts on a choke for a while. He misses a senton but Taichi could not get any advantage. He hits knees to midsection and then hits a DDT and low lariat. Shingo gets two more counts. Shingo toys around with kicks to the face. Shingo misses in the corner and gets nailed with a gamengiri. Taichi is once again unable to take advantage as he also goes down. Taichi hits kicks to the face. He nails more quick kicks and gets two count in his favor. Taichi hits kicks to the back and then to the chest.

Shingo hypes up and invites more kicks. He hits a clothesline but soon gets countered with German suplex from Taichi for him to get a two-count. Shingo 7-6 Taichi. Taichi hits a clothesline and removes his track pants. Shingo hits him with a clothesline in the corner. We have just 3 minutes left. Taichi hits a roundhouse kick and an enzuigiri. Shingo counters with a crucifix and gets three count. Shingo 10-6 Taichi with just two mintues left.

They collide with clotheslines and neither men go down. Shingo is dropped with a big punch. Taichi avoids a superkick and hits a clothesline for 1 more count going into the final minute. He hits a gamengiri but could not get the count. Shingo nails more shots. Taichi hypes up and starts a tussle. He manages to bring Shingo down with Sumo Takedown to get a three count. He goes for a crucifix but Shingo kicks out. The clock runs down.

Winner – Shingo Takagi

Tama Tonga(c) vs Karl Anderson – NEVER Openweight Championship

Tama Tonga attacks before the bell. Karl gets to the floor as the bell rings. Tama slams his face to the apron. Karl hits back with big blows as they get to the ramp. He drops Tama on the ramp. Tama hits with a big punch to send him through the barricade. Back to the ringside, Tama sends Karl into the barricade and then hits a snap suplex on the floor. Tama throws Karl back into the ring. Doc Gallows distracts Tama and Anderson drops him on the ropes. Anderson now distracts the referee and Gallows hits him with a chokeslam on the apron. Gallows nails Gado with a shot at the ringside.

Tama gets back to the apron and Anderson kicks him into the barricade. The referee starts to count down. Tama struggles but gets back in at 18. Anderson with some ground and pound to get a two-count. Anderson hits a senton. He nails punches to the head before putting on a choke. Tama gets on his feet, but gets sent to the floor. Gallows tries to send Tama into the ringpost but Jado saves him and assists him to send Gallows into the ringpost instead.

Back to the ring, Tama hits a crossbody. They trade shots now. Anderson whips Tama to the corner and he explodes out with a clothesline to drop him. Tama hits punches and chops before hitting a big dropkick. He hits a big corner splash for another two-count. Tama goes to the top. Anderson joins him but is dropped back. Anderson counters with a spinebuster to get a two-count. Tama avoids the TKO and nails a flurry of shots. He hits Baleno to get a near fall. Tama hypes up but Anderson blocks the Gun Stun. Anderson nails him with a kick to the back of the head. He hits a sit-out powerbomb to get a near fall. Tama counters with a two-count of his own.

They trade more shots now. A big uppercut from Anderson is replied with an enzuigiri on the ribs. Tama misses in the corner and Anderson hits a neckbreaker. They both block Gun Stun a few times. Anderson hits a Bernard Driver for a close two-count. Tama hits Anderson with a driver and then hits a splash from the top to get a near fall. Anderson counters with a back body drop. Gallows gets into the ring and Tama hits him with Gun Stun. Anderson catches Tama with the Gun Stun to get the pin.

Winner – Karl Anderson(new Never Openweight Champion)

SANADA vs Will Ospreay – Vacant IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship

Sanada avoids a dropkick. Ospreay avoids a senton. Sanada trips Ospreay with a low dropkick. Sanada hits another dropkick to send Ospreay to the floor and hits with an flying elbow. Sanada hits big elbows to the back. Ospreay kicks him away, drops him on the ropes and then hits a running boot to get one-count. Ospreay hits a big chop in the corner. Sanada hits a boot to cut off Ospreay. Ospreay drops him on his knees.

Ospreay hits a knee and an elbow. Sanada hits back with punches. He hits a low drop to hurt Ospreay’s knee. Sanada hits an armdrag and tailbone jam. Ospreay gets a two-count with a sunset flip before Sanada puts him in the Paradise lock. Sanada hits a dropkick in that position to get a two-count. Ospreay hits a handspring kick to knock Sanada off his feet. Sanada goes to the floor and Ospreay hits him with Sky Twister.

Back to the ring, Ospreay hits the Phenomenal Forearm to get a two-count. Sanada blocks a move and Ospreay hits with kicks to the face. Sanada nails him with a big elbow. They start trading shots in the middle of the ring. Ospreay breaks the pattern with a roundhouse kick. Both men block each others’ finishers. Ospreay hits a hook kick and Oscutter. Ospreay thought he got the pin but Sanada kicks out.

Ospreay’s Stormbreakker is countered into a sunset flip. Sanada hits TKO after a series of counters. Ospreay kicks out after a Tiger suplex. He gets his knees up on the Mutah Moonsault. Ospreay hits hidden blade to get a near fall. Sanada uses a bridge to get a near fall. Ospreay hits hidden blade and stormbreaker to get the pin.

Winner – Will Ospreay(new US Heavyweight Champion)

Kazuchika Okada(c) vs Jay White – IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

The bell rings and Jay White talks some trash. White tells Gado that he does not need him. They lock up and Okada pushes White. White spins him into the ropes. They lock up again and Okada spins Whte into the ropes. White lands big blows to the back as they break. White unloads on him in the corner with punches and then with chops. Okada hits back with a neckbreaker. He hits snapmare before hitting a low dropkick.

White goes to the floor. Gado trips Okada and White runs over Okada with a clothesline. Okada punches him back while they are on the floor. Gado distracts Okada and White catches him with a DDT. White runs Okada into the barricade now.

Okada is rammed to the barricade once again. White traps Okada in the apron cloth to choke him for a while. White hits knife edge chops now. He whips Okada from corner to corner before dropping him with another knife edge chop. White puts on a bear hug before going for a bunch of pinfall attempts to tire out Okada. Okada gets up and nails him with a big forearm. Okada connects with a boot in second try as they run the ropes.

Okada ducks clotheslines and elbows and lands a back elbow to get a two-count. Okada hits a back splash in the corner and a DDT to get a two-count. White hits him with a knee but Okada drops him with a flapjack. Okada whips White into the barricade and knocks him over with a big boot. Okada throws Gada also on White when he tries to attack him. Okada hits a crossbody on both of them by jumping over the barricade.

White blocks tombstone and drives Okada in to the barricade. Okada has hurt his back. White slams him to the barricade one more time. He hits a suplex into the barricade now. White goes back to the ring and The referee starts the countdown. Okada gingerly gets back to the ring. White hits a running uppercut and Bladebuster to get a two-count. White mocks Okada and hits a flatliner. White hits a German suplex next.

White hits a knee into the ribs. White hits a saito suplex to drop Okada to the floor. White slams him into the barricade a few times before dropping him into the apron. Back to the ring, White hits Urinage to get a near fall. Okada drives him back into the corner but White takes a shot at the ribs to stop him in his tracks. White hits a knife edge chop after putting Okada on the top. Okada stops the Super Urinage. White runs into a hard forearm and drops him to the floor. Okada hits a shotgun missile dropkick from the top. Both men are down now.

Okada hits another shotgun dropkick as they get up. He hits a body slam and goes to the top again to hit an elbow drop. Okada signals for the rainmaker but White counters with a dragon screw. He hits another dragon screw before putting on the OTL. Okada is pulled back as he tries to get to the ropes. White changes into the Texas Cloverleaf now. White has been mocking Tanahashi throughout the match. Okada gets to the ropes to break it.

White hits knife edge chops. Okada hulks up and hits White with a shotgun dropkick. Okada puts on the Money Clip now. Gado grabs onto the referee and Okada and White crash into him. Gado throws in a chair and tells White to believe him and use it. Okada was standing on top of it though. Okada drops White and puts on Money Clip again. Gado distracts the referee again and White hits a lowblow on Okada to break Money Clip.

Okada nails him with an elbow and White falls to the floor. Okada asks him to get back in. White gets back and starts trading forearms. They do it for a while until White is dropped to the mat. Okada looks for a clothesline but White goes low with a tackle into his ribs. White hits a snap suplex and then hits a regalplex for a near fall. White hits a crossarm suplex. White drops Okada with clotheslines while walking him around. Okada hits him back with a clothesline and holds onto White’s arm. He hits one more big clothesline.

Finishers blocked from both men before Okada hits a piledriver and a spinning rainmaker. White ducks rainmaker before running into a dropkick. Okada hits landslide. White counters rainmaker with Bladerunner to get the pin.

Winner – Jay White(new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion)

The rest of the Bullet Club came out to celebrate with White. White tells Hangman Adam Page to not expect a title shot at Forbidden Door.
