New Japan Cup 2023 Lineup & Brackets Revealed

The lineup is set for the 2023 edition of the New Japan Cup. 

The tournament kicks off on March 5, 2023, and the final match will take place on March 21. The winner of the New Japan Cup 2023 will face the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion at NJPW Sakura Genesis on April 8.

Last year this tournament featured a total of 50 men competing for the world title shot. However, this year’s New Japan Cup will feature 24 men over the course of 16 days to book a ticket to Ryogoku.

The previous edition of this cup was won by Zack Zabre Jr. who received a first-round bye this year along with Will Ospreay, Chase Owens, Kenta, Hirooki Goto, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, and Tama Tonga.
