SmackDown Tag Team Title Match Announced for WWE SmackDown 4 June
WWE has announced SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Intercontinental Championship match for next week’s SmackDown episode(4 June 2021).
The Usos faced The Street Profits in their first return match in over a year this week on SmackDown. The Usos were able to get the win. Post that win, Jimmy Uso went to Adam Pearce and asked for the tag team title match. The Mysterios were booked to defend SmackDown Tag Team titles against The Dirty Dawgs this week on SmackDown.
Pearce agreed to Jimmy’s demand and announced that whoever will end up with the title on the night will have to defend the titles against The Usos next week.
Later in the night, The Dirty Dawgs attacked Rey Mysterio before the title match. Then, Dominik faced the Dirty Dawgs alone and was able to retain the titles. Just as the Mysterios were celebrating, The Usos came out to confront them and hype the title match next week.
In between all this, Roman Reigns has been in Jey’s ears and trying to influence Jey with his philosophy. Roman said that Jey had been a ‘main event’ star since he has come under his wings while the tag team with Jimmy took him back to being the opening act.
When Jey told Roman that he does not want to go in Jimmy with tag team matches, Roman told him to go and say this to Jimmy.
