Updates on MVP’s Knee Injury After WWE RAW

MVP, the CEO of Hurt Business, might have hurt his knee on WWE RAW this week.

MVP paired with fellow Hurt Business members Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in a loss to Riddle and Lucha House Party in a six-man tag team match on 15 February edition of RAW. He was helped to the back after the match has finished.

Afterward, MVP appeared on RAW Talk supporting via a pair of crutches and told that an old injury has flared up. Dave Meltzer mentioned on this week’s Wrestling Observer Radio that MVP might have blown out his knee. The injury is speculated to come after MVP landed on his feet while taking a bump off the apron.

In an update, PWInsider is reporting MVP has traveled to Birmingham, AL Tuesday morning to see a doctor. WWE stars often visit Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham for injury evaluations and surgery. However, MVP took to Twitter to discredit that report.

Earlier, MVP told a fan on Twitter, who was taking shot at him for being slow in the ring, that he only has one good knee. However, MVP’s recent tweet has casted the doubt whether the injury is actually serious or not.

There is still no word on whether this injury would force MVP to miss any time. It can although be expected that even if the injury requires surgery, WWE might choose to keep MVP on the screen in a managerial role. Keep following this space for the latest developments on the news.
