Jon Moxley Out of All Out, PAC Replace Him Against Omega
Jon Moxley announced on Twitter that he will not be able to compete at AEW All Out due to a serious case of MRSA in his elbow and later, AEW announced that he will be replaced by PAC for the match against Kenny Omega.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported earlier that Jon Moxley was dealing with some kind of elbow injury. The report indicated that could have been an infection caught during recent G1 tournament with NJPW. Yesterday, Jon Moxley took to Twitter state the same thing. He also went on to announce that he is unable to take part at AEW All Out 2019 due to the same infection.
Cody also tweeted that it is very heartbreaking news but Moxley’s health and safety are paramount. He also assured that they will reschedule the match at a later date. A few hours later, AEW went on to announce that PAC will replace Moxley in the match against Kenny Omega at All Out.
PAC is coming to AEW 3 months late after withdrawing from Double or Nothing. He was set to face Adam Hangman Page at Double or Nothing but decided not to appear at the show due to some creative differences with AEW. At the time, PAC was Open the Dream Gate Champion and was on a winning streak. He decided not to break that streak and pulled out of coming to AEW for the time being.
Instead of their match at Double or Nothing, Adam Page and PAC faced off at Wrestle Gate Pro event in Nottingham in May. The match ended in a DQ and also left Page with a knee injury(kayfabe). Later, Page went on to win the Casino Battle Royal and with that qualified for the inaugural AEW World Championship match against Chris Jericho at All Out.
