WWE has filled up the card for WWE Great American Bash event on July 5, 2022.

A total of five new matches, including three title matches, were announced for the show during this week’s NXT episode.

Carmelo Hayes will defend the North American Championship against Grayson Waller. Waller tricked Hayes into signing a contract for the title match as he handed him a few props for his autographs. A livid Hayes was later told that he would have to defend the title against Waller now.

Roderick Strong will try to show The Creed Brothers how to win matches as he teams up with Damon Kemp to challenge The Creed Brothers for the tag team championship. Strong teamed up with The Creed Brothers to take on Joe Gacy and his Dayds this week. During the finish, Strong took a blind tag from Julius Creed. This started an argument between them and Dayds ended up hitting Strong with their double team finisher to get a pin. The argument continued backstage and The Creed Brothers told Strong to stop pointing fingers at them. Strong then set up the tag title match for next week’s show.

Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez became the #1 contenders for NXT Women’s tag team titles by beating Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. They will challenge the current champions, Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin next week at Great American Bash.

Trick Williams interrupted Wes Lee’s promo last week and mocked him. Wes Lee cut a promo on this week’s NXT against Williams and revealed their match for Great American Bash.

Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton have been feuding for a long time now. On this week’s show, Wendy was having nightmares about Stratton until she decided to replace it with her own happy memories. Choo later said that Startton is foolish to think that she is foolish. WWE confirmed a rematch between them. Startton previously defeated Choo in their match back in February.
