Tag Team Match Added to Stomping Grounds Card

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will face Xavier Woods and Big E from the New Day in a tag team match at Stomping Grounds 2019.

Kevin Owens has been in a feud with Kofi Kingston and the New Day over WWE Championship. He faced Kofi Kingston for the title at Money in the Bank in a losing effort. Sami Zayn is also tagged around with him. Actually, Zayn has featured heavily in both WWE and Universal Championship scene recently.

This week’s RAW saw Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn hosting Baron Corbin as the guest at their talk show segment. Corbin was about to announce the special guest referee and called out EC3. Seth Rollins demolished EC3 and Corbin have to start his search from scratch.

But soon, The New Day interrupted them and the segment lead to a 6-man tag team match. During the end, Corbin accidentally clotheslined Sami Zayn which lead to KO super kicking and abandoning him to lose to New Day. The tag team match at Stomping Grounds was announced during the same match.
