Kenny Omega vs Takeshita Announced for AEW All Out 2023
Kenny Omega will clash in a one-on-one match with Konosuke Takeshita at AEW All Out 2023 PPV event.
At the AEW All In 2023 PPV event, Konosuke Takeshita, Jay White & Juice Robinson faced The Elite (Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page & Kota Ibushi) in a six-man tag team match. At the end of the match, Takeshita executed a roll-up on Omega to secure a pinfall victory.
During the AEW All In media scrum, Don Callis proposed the idea of a match between Takeshita and Omega. Without any hesitation, Tony Khan made the match official for the AEW All Out PPV event.

The rivalry between Takeshita and Omega as old as Don Callis turning on Omega in May this year in the build-up to Double or Nothing. Callis had recruited Callis to his service as manager early this year. Takeshita then attacked Omega and The Elite during Anarchy in the Arena match to help Blackpool Combat Club secure a victory.
Callis is claiming that Takeshita is far better than Omega ever since his turn against Omega. Takeshita also attacked Omega after TripleMania XXXI Mexico City event. Takeshita was also part of Blood & Guts match against The Elite.
During the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, Omega was scheduled to talk with Jim Ross, and during the interview, Takeshita teamed up with Robinson and White to launch an attack on Omega.
AEW All Out 2023 PPV event is scheduled for September 3, 2023, and it will be live from the United Center in Chicago, IL. This is the third match announced for the event. TBS title bout is also set for the event between Krish Statlander and Ruby Soho.
