Jon Moxley to face Juice Robinson for IWGP US Title on June 5
New Japan Pro-Wrestling(NJPW) held a press conference this morning in Tokyo to officially confirm that Jon Moxley, will challenge Juice Robinson for the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship Title on June 5th at the Best of the Super Juniors Finals.
The promotion has been airing vignettes teasing a mysterious wrestler “X” set to debut at the show and confirmed early Monday morning that the videos were indeed promoting the arrival of the former WWE Grand Slam Champion Jon Moxley(Dean Ambrose in WWE).
Jon Moxley shocked the Wrestling community when he appeared at AEW Double Or Nothing and created a moment few will ever forget. He has signed a multi-year deal with AEW which will see him working exclusively for AEW domestically but he can work for other International promotions if his schedule permits.
The Best of Super Junior show will air on 5 June from Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. Below matches are lined up for the show:
