Johnny Gargano Returns to WWE RAW, Reunites with Tommaso Ciampa

Johnny Gargano has made his return to WWE RAW after 4 months and has seemingly reunited with former DIY tag team partner Tomasso Ciampa.
During the October 2 episode of RAW, Gunther was scheduled to compete against Tommaso Ciampa for the Intercontinental Championship. In the match, Gunther emerged victorious, defeating Ciampa.
Following the match, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser launched an attack on Ciampa. To everyone’s surprise, Johnny Gargano made a sudden entrance and rushed to Ciampa’s rescue. Together, Ciampa and Gargano executed their tag team finisher on Kaiser.

Johnny Gargano’s last appearance took place on May 15, 2023, episode of RAW. He participated in a Battle Royale.
Ciampa and Gargano have a history as former tag team partners. Known as DIY, they formed the partnership in 2015. They went on to win NXT Tag Team Championship by beating The Revival at NXT Takeover: Toronto in November 2016.
However, they had a falling out when Ciampa turned on Gargano at NXT Takeover: Chicago in 2017, leading to an epic rivalry trilogy of fights. They later reunited in early 2019 and even debuted on RAW and SmackDown as a tag team.
Since then, they had a couple of reunions and breakups on NXT itself which also led to an Empty Arena No Holds Barred match in April 2020.
