John Cena vs Solo Sikoa Announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2023
John Cena will face Solo Sikoa in a one-on-one match at Crown Jewel 2023 PLE.
WWE made the match announcement on Twitter. During October 20 episode of SmackDown, John Cena mentioned his losing record, stating that he hadn’t won a singles match in 2002 days. His last victory in a singles match occurred in 2018.
During that episode, John Cena brought up the topic of retirement, but he received a positive response from the fans in the form of cheers. He expressed his belief in himself, in the fans, and in his ability to continue in the wrestling world.

Following his remarks, John Cena issued an open challenge, which Solo Sikoa initially accepted. However, Jimmy Uso attempted to interfere, and the situation escalated further when Jey Uso intervened by attacking Jimmy Uso.
At Fastlane 2023 PLE, Cena and LA Knight defeated Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso in a tag team match. Cena’s last singles television match took place at WrestleMania 39 PLE where he was defeated by Austin Theory for United Sates title match.
WWE Crown Jewel 2023 PLE is scheduled for November 4, 2023, and it will be live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Cody Rhodes is also scheduled for the event, where he will face Damian Priest.
