According to the latest reports, veteran wrestling manager Father James Mitchell is present backstage at the Impact Slammiversary 2022

PWInsider reported that James Mitchell was spotted in Nashville for tonight’s PPV event of Impact and subsequent TV Tapings. 

Mitchell made his wrestling debut back in 1989. After some time, he appeared in WCW as James Vandenberg, the manager of Mortis. 

Mitchell’s career saw a peak when he became everyone’s favorite in ECW. He named himself the Sinister Minister. However, soon after he met with an accident.

He arrived at TNA/Impact in 2002 and debuted his Father James Mitchell gimmick. The most memorable run of his career started when he paired himself with Abyss in 2005. 

James Mitchell most recently appeared in AEW when he worked as the officiate during Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford’s wedding. 

Now, it will be interesting what he’s got in store for everyone and whether he will appear on Slammiversary 2022 tonight or not.
