Jack Perry Suspended from AEW, Confirmed by Tony Khan
Tony Khan has confirmed that Jack Perry has received a suspension from AEW.
During AEW All In PPV event, there was a backstage altercation between Jack Perry and CM Punk after Perry’s match against Hook. During his match with Hook, Perry made a reference to his backstage altercation with Punk at AEW Collision by saying, “Real glass, cry me a river.”
Afterward, reports emerged that both Perry and Punk were suspended for the incident. Subsequently, AEW later announced that Punk had been released from the company.
During the AEW All Out media scrum, Tony Khan officially confirmed that Perry has been suspended. Khan also mentioned that he has replaced all individuals who were involved in the behind-the-scenes confrontation from their positions.
The exact date of Perry’s return to AEW remains uncertain. He recently lost his FTW Championship to Hook during the AEW All In 2023 PPV event.
