Iyo Sky vs Asuka Women’s Title Match Set for Sep 22 SmackDown
Iyo Sky is set to defend the WWE Women’s Title on SmackDown.
WWE officially announced that Iyo Sky would put her WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Asuka on the September 22 episode of SmackDown.

Iyo Sky & Bayley faced Charlotte Flair & Shotzi at the September 8 SmackDown. During this match, Asuka appeared in the crowd and caused the distraction which cost Damage CTRl the match.
After the match, Asuka appeared in the ring and confronted the champion. Later in the show, Sky stated that she is ready for Asuka and then she put forth a challenge for the former champion. WWE then confirmed the match for September 22 SmackDown.
Iyo Sky won the WWE Women’s Title at WWE SummerSlam 2023 by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair. The latter just defeated Charlotte & Asuka in a triple-threat match to win the title.
Will Iyo Sky be able to defeat the Empress of Tomorrow or will Asuka take her title back on September 22?
