Iyo Sky retains the WWE Women’s title by defeating Charlotte Flair and Auska in a triple threat match at WWE Fastlane 2023 PLE.

At the start of the match, Asuka spits green mist on Flair, but Iyo managed to break the pinfall. Asuka and Iyo fight delivers a roundhouse kick to Iyo. Charlotte eventually returned to the ring and connected a pump kick. The triple threat nature of the match produced some quick action

The moment in the match occurred when Flair delivered a spear to Asuka, but to everyone’s surprise, Asuka managed to kick out at the last possible moment, keeping the match alive.

Bayley came out to wake up Iyo, but an argument between them allowed Flair to capitalize and catch her with a knee strike. Asuka then flew in with a codebreaker on Flair, nearly securing a pinfall.

After more action, Flair locked in the Figure Eight Leglock on Asuka. But the referee could not see Asuka’s tap out as Bayley distracted her. In the midst of this distraction, Iyo capitalized and executed the Over the Moonsault, securing the pinfall victory.

There has been an ongoing feud involving Sky, Asuka, and Flair since the SummerSlam 2023 PPV event. This rivalry commenced when Sky used her Money In the Bank contract to cash in on Bianca Belair and capture the championship title.

During the September 29 episode of SmackDown, Bayley made the announcement that a match had been arranged for Fastlane. This match would feature Iyo Sky defending her title against both Asuka and Flair. It appears that Sky was not pleased with Bayley’s decision.

Before her match at Fastlane, Iyo Sky had previously defended her title on the September 22 episode of SmackDown, where she secured a victory over Asuka.
