WWE SmackDown February 18: IC Title & More Matches Announced

A match for WWE Intercontinental Championship is announced for WWE SmackDown episode of February 18, 2023, along with two tag team matches.
WWE booked a fatal 4-way match on this week’s SmackDown episode to find the #1 contender for Intercontinental title. Madcap Moss defeated Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and Karrion Kross in the match. He will now face the champion Gunther on next week’s SmackDown episode.
Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are after The Viking Raiders ever since they beat them up last month. They previously defeated The Viking Raiders in the first round of SmackDown Tag Team Contender’s Tournament. The Raiders then attacked Sheamus and McIntyre before their semifinal match in that tournament.
Sheamus and McIntyre pulled off from the semifinal to pursue The Raiders but did not receive a match against them. This week, they defeated Hit-Row in a squash match. After the match, The Viking Raiders appeared on the big screen to announce a match for February 10, 2023 episode.
Ronda Rousey returned to SmackDown this week and joined Shayna Baszler to attack Natalya. Shotzi came out to help Natalya, but Ronda and Shayna took her down. Next week, Natalya and Shotzi will get a chance at revenge as they face Shayna and Ronda in a tag team match.
February 18, 2023, episode of SmackDown will air from Bell Center in Montreal, Canada. It will be the go-home episode for Elimination Chamber 2023 event. The line-up is as follows:
- Intercontinental Titel match between Gunther & Madcap Moss
- Drew McIntyre & Sheamus face The Viking Raiders(Erik & Ivar)
- Shotzi & Natalya take on Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler
