WWE Clash of Champions 2020 PPV is just 4 weeks away and only one match is announced till now. With at least 7-8 more matches expected to be added to the card, we are wondering what those might be. Here are our thoughts. (Check current match card here).

Jeff Hardy(c) vs Sami Zayn vs AJ Styles – WWE Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zayn returned to SmackDown with the title belt which he actually never lost and claimed himself being the actual champion. AJ Styles is the only other champion since Zayn was stripped off the title. So, it would make sense that the current champion, the last champion and the champion that never lost the title would face-off to crown the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.

Asuka(c) vs Mickie James vs Peyton Royce – WWE RAW Women’s Championship – With Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax becoming the tag team champions, Asuka is suddenly without any credible challenger. This week on RAW, WWE teased a future title match for Mickie James which could come as early as Clash of Champions.

WWE also disbanded the IIconics since they see Peyton Royce as a big singles star. If this rumor is true, she could definitely be in contention for title match soon.

Aleister Black vs Kevin Owens – Aleister Black dropped the ball on Kevin Owens by attacking him on back to back weeks at RAW. With the rivalry budding, a match is expected between them and could take place at Clash of Champions itself.

Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura vs Heavy Machinery – SmackDown Tag Team Championship – Heavy Machinery and the team of the Miz and Morrison are only legitimate threat for SmackDown Tag Team Champions at the moment. But Miz and Morrison are currently heels. So, a babyface team in Heavy Machinery could challenge Cesaro and Nakamura at Clash of Champions.

The Street Profits(c) vs Hurt Business – RAW Tag Team Championship – Hurt Business got their first major title when Bobby Lashley won the United States Championship at Payback. But they will definitely not stop there and will try to take more titles. With Drew McIntyre already busy with Randy Orton, we could see them go after the longest reigning RAW Tag Team Champions – The Street Profits.

Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax vs Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott just became the #1 contenders for Women’s tag titles. So, we could expect them to face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax at Clash of Champions.
