Ember Moon Possibly Out Due to Injury Again

Ember Moon is reportedly out with an injury to her leg and could be out for up to a year.

According to the latest report in Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ember Moon is suffering from an ankle injury or an Achilles injury. Depending on the type of injury, Moon could be out of action for a significant amount of time.

An ankle injury would take at least 6 weeks to 6 months to heal depending on the level of injury. On the other hand, an Achilles injury would mean that she could be gone for 9 months to a year.

Ember Moon already lost around 3 months due to an elbow injury earlier in the year. She underwent an elbow surgery just after the Royal Rumble in January. She returned to action after WrestleMania but was only used sporadically by WWE.

Moon was called to the WWE main roster after WrestleMania 2018. She has a few matches on RAW her injury at Royal Rumble. She has had a feud with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in June-July on SmackDown after being drafted to the brand in Superstar Shakeup 2019.

In July, she started a program with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. Bayley and Moon faced off at SummerSlam in a title where Moon was unable to win the title. She was last seen in a match against Lacey Evans on RAW in September in a losing effort.
