Edge Defeats AJ Styles with Rhea Ripley’s Help at WrestleMania Backlash
The Judgment Day gains a new member in the form of Rhea Ripley who helps Edge in defeating AJ Styles in a rematch at WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022.
AJ Styles entered the match with an injured shoulder, and WWE Hall of Famer Edge was smart enough to work it throughout the match. He even pushed Styles into the ring post and slammed it on the mat to hurt AJ Styles.
AJ Styles put up a tough fight with the injured shoulder. He connected a hurricanrana from the top rope and a brainbuster on his knee but that wasn’t enough to put down the Hall of Famer.
As a result, AJ Styles gets to the top rope to hit Edge with the Phenomenal Forearm. However, Damian Priest appeared at the ringside and was attacked by Finn Balor. Rhea Ripley appeared and pulled down Styles from the top rope through his shoulder.
It gave Edge a chance to put Styles in a bulldog choke and AJ eventually passed out. After the match, Rhea Ripley entered the ring and officially revealed herself as a new member of Judgment Day.
