The Young Bucks vs Private Party – 1st Round, AEW World Tag Team Championship Match

Isiah Kassidy and Nick Jackson start with back and forth action. Matt tags in and they hit some double team moves. Nick hits a neckbreaker before tagging Matt. They take out Quen on the apron before hitting Kassidy with one of their signature double team moves.

They keep Kassidy isolated with quick tags. Isiah manages to fight off both men before he makes the tag to Quen for a springboard crossbody. He hits a few big dives over the top rope to get the crowd on its feet. Quen nails a 450 for a close two count. Matt tags in and hits a superkick. The Bucks nail Kassidy with a double superkick. Matt powerbombs Kassidy on the ramp while Nick sets up Quen in the corner. Quen kicks out after a double team and avoids a submission to The Sharpshooter.

Kassidy tries to help his partner to no avail. The Bucks keep the upper hand for a long time using classic double team tactics. Isiah gets the tag but Matt hits a trio of northern lights suplexes. Quen comes in and Matt suplexes both men for a quick two count. Kassidy is able to get out of a Sharpshooter by reaching the bottom rope. Quen hits an amazing shooting star press for a close two count. Quen ends up countering the Meltzer Driver and scores the upset win.

Winners- Private Party – Advances to the second round of AEW Tag Team Tournament

The Inner Circle!!

AEW World Champion Chris Jericho comes out with Sammy Guevara, Ortiz, Santana, and Jake Hager. Jericho gives himself the credit for last week’s Dynamite rating. Jericho then introduces others. When he introduces Hager, crowd chants “We The People!” and Jericho says that was a stupid idea by WWE creative. Jericho praises Hager’s MMA work, says he’s the toughest guy in AEW.

Jericho tells us that his stable will be called “The Inner Circle.” Jericho moves on to Cody and takes some shots on him, his father Dusty and his brother Dustin. Jericho says he will kick Dustin Rhodes’ ass later tonight. Jericho then says he’s going to beat the ever-living **** out of Cody at Full Gear.

Darby Allin vs Jimmy Havoc – No 1 Contender Match

Some back and forth action to start. Allin hits an arm drag from the top. He hits a dropkick next. The ends up on the apron. Havoc hits a suplex from the apron to the floor. Back in the ring, Havoc bites off Allin’s hand. Havoc work on the arm now. Darby hits back with a kick. Havoc puts on a sleeper hold. He hits a suplex from the sleeper hold.

Havoc follows with Tiger Driver 98. Allin stops the pin by grabing the ropes. Havoc stomps on Allin’s face and then looks for the ripcord lariat. Darby bites his finger and hits a stunner. Darby gets the pin after a coffin drop.

Winner- Darby Allin – Will Face AEW Champion Chris Jericho next week

Riho and Britt Baker vs Emi Sakura and Bea Priestly

Riho and Emi start the match. Sakura hits a slam but Riho bridges out of a pin to hit a dropkick. Sakura throws her by her hair while taunting Baker. She locks Riho in a surfboard submission before tagging Priestly. She knocks Baker off the apron and starts brawling with her outside but Riho is still the legal competitor.

Britt takes her down with some punches. Sakura and Priestley hits a double suplex on Baker. Riho hits them with crossbody. Back in the ring, Sukura breaks up a pin on Priestley. Sakura tags in and takes down Baker with a crossbody and a twisting senton. Baker counters her to hit a cutter and a neckbreaker for a two-count. Sakura hits some knees to the face before Baker rocks her with her elbow. Baker puts on Lockjaw on Sakura to get the submission.

Winners- Riho and Britt Baker

Jon Moxley vs Shawn Spears

Spears backs Mox to the corner for some chest chops to start the match. Moxley takes them and dishes out a few of his own. Moxley gets a quick two count before Spears hits a few more chops. Spears rolls to the floor and Moxley throws him into the barricade. Tully tries to interfere but Moxley backs him off and hits Spears with an elbow from the apron. Blanchard sends Moxley into the steps while the referee is distracted. Spears slams Moxley into the barricade and floor as we head to a break.

Spears hits a death valley driver on the barricade. Moxley hits a suicide dive. They trade strikes in the ring. Moxley runs over Spears with clothesline. Spears counters a DDT and hits a fireman’s carry slam for a two count. Mox is able to hit the Paradigm Shift for the pin and the win.

Winner- Jon Moxley

Post-match, Kenny Omega comes out with barbed wired bat and broom. Omega throws the bat to Moxley and keeps the broom for himself. PAC runs in from behind to attack Omega with a chair. Moxley and PAC face-off before pointing at Omega. PAC goes back. Moxley thinks about attacking Omega but he also heads to the back.

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs Adam Page & Dustin Rhodes

Rhodes tells Guevara he wants Jericho and Y2J obliges. Rhodes immediately sends Jericho out of the ring and starts beating on him at ringside. He takes out Guevara with an uppercut when he tries to help. Page gets the tag and hits Sammy with a corner clothesline. He takes Guevara down with a fallaway slam before going after Jericho with a slingshot dive out of the ring. Dustin tags back in and decks Guevara with a big right hand. Hangman tags back in and Sammy kicks him on the top turnbuckle before dropping Page across the top rope for a two-count.

Guevara get the tag as we return from the break. He knocks Rhodes off the apron to prevent a tag before locking Page in a submission. The heels keep Hangman isolated for a long time. The Natural finally gets the tag and takes it to Guevara. He stops Jericho from interfering before taking out both men with a crossbody from the top rope. Sammy is low-bridged out of the ring and Page takes him down with a moonsault. Hager levels Page with a clothesline at ringside. As Rhodes prepares to finish off Jericho, Hager runs in and hits him with a running forearm while the referee is distracted. Jericho hits The Judas Effect for the pin and the win.

Winner- Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara

Jericho and Guevara continue the beatdown after the match. Cody appears in the ring after the lights go out and hits Cross Rhodes on Sammy. The rest of The Inner Circle runs down to join the fight. MJF brings a chair in the ring and Jericho offers him to hit Cody with it. MJF attacks Ortiz and Santana instead and helps Cody clear the ring. Jericho hits him with the Codebreaker when he celebrates for too long. The Young Bucks run down to throw a superkick party. Y2J takes his title and leaves while Cody and his friends stand tall in the ring. Darby runs down and attacks Jericho with a skateboard. Jericho runs off after a rain of punches. He takes the mic and tells everyone that they don’t know who they are dealing with.
