CM Punk’s WWE Return Match Set at MSG on December 26

CM Punk will have his first match after his WWE return at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Madison Square Garden has confirmed that CM Punk is scheduled to take on Dominik Mysterio at the Live Holiday Tour event on December 26. This marks Punk’s inaugural match since his return to WWE at Survivor Series PLE on November 25.

Additionally, this upcoming bout will be CM Punk’s first overall match in WWE since the 2014 Royal Rumble. Specifically, it will be his first singles match since his victory over Billy Gunn on January 20, 2014 episode of RAW.

This live event will also mark CM Punk’s return to Madison Square Garden since March 13, 2012. Back then, he teamed up with Randy Orton and Triple H to secure a victory against Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, and Dolph Ziggler during a live event at MSG.

On December 11 episode of WWE RAW, Punk officially joined the brand by signing a contract and declared his participation in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Additionally, he engaged in a heated confrontation with Seth Rollins during the same episode.

The Kia Forum has also confirmed that Punk is set to take on Mysterio during the WWE Live Holiday Tour event scheduled for Saturday, December 30.
