Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville Become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on WWE RAW this week.
During July 3 episode of RAW, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville won the Gauntlet match last week to become the number one contenders for the titles.
Before the women’s tag team match on July 17 episode of RAW, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez had a confrontation with Rhea Ripley, which resulted in Ripley attacking Raquel’s knee.

Liv Morgan and Rodriguez were also seen backstage with the medical team and Adam Pearce, where the medical team and Pearce suggested that Rodriguez should not compete because her knee is in bad condition, but Rodriguez denied it and replied that she did not want to
During the match, Green and Deville targeted Rodriguez’s bad knee, but the reigning champions were able to make a comeback at important junctures. However, Sonya pulled Raquel off the apron to hurt her knee once again. Green delivered Unpretty-Her to Liv Morgan, and Deville followed up with the shining wizard to get the pinfall and the gold.
Chelsea Green has now become just the fourth woman to win both IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Zelina Vega(Rosita) and The IIcconics(The IInspirations) are the other women to achieve that feat.
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championships at the Money in the Bank PPV event earlier this month by defeating Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
