Bobby Roode made his return to WWE but in an entirely new role.

According to the latest reports, Bobby Roode started working as a road agent for WWE televised events this past week. He was also spotted in Detroit, Michigan before SummerSlam 2023.

Dave Meltzer confirmed a new role on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. If Bobby is indeed planning to become a full-time producer, then he would join the likes of Jamie Noble, Jason Jordan, Tyson Kidd and more who became producers after suffering career-threatening injuries.

Bobby Roode hasn’t announced his retirement from the in-ring competition yet, so there is still hope that the fans might see his glorious comeback soon.

However, he underwent two neck fusion surgeries within a span of one year, and currently, he is in recovering stage.

Bobby Roode last stepped inside a ring against Omos during a live event in June 2022. His last televised match was Andre the Giant Battle Royal which took place on the April 1, 2022, episode of SmackDown.

Do you think Bobby Roode will make his in-ring return or will he continue to work as a backstage producer?
