Blackpool Combat Club has defeated Jericho Appreciation Society in the Blood and Guts match on the Dynamite Special on June 29, 2022.

After months of rivalry, the two stables faced off in the steel cage with two rings enclosed. The match started with Sammy Guevara and Claudio Castagnoli where Claudio dominated the early proceeding.

JAS had the man advantage in the match as Jericho’s team won a tag team match at Forbidden Door PPV. Daniel Garcia entered the match and teamed up with Sammy to work on Claudio for a while. Wheeler Yuta came in next for BCC and started to hit German Suplexes. Jake Hager entered for JAS and faced off with Claudio to start a brawl. Jon Moxley brought in a steel chair to throw at Hager and beat up all the opponents.

Blackpool Combat Club went on to control the proceeding brutally so much so that Angelo Parker kept running around to avoid getting beat up when he entered. Hager led a fight back but Ortiz’s entry only made it worse for JAS. Moxley used shredded glasses to split open Garcia and others. Matt Menard came in with a steel chair to turn it around for JAS. Chris Jericho himself entered last with a baseball bat and hit Claudio with a codebreaker.

Eddie Kingston was the last men to enter the match to officially start it. Eddie used a kendo stick to his advantage before breaking it on Jericho. Moxley and Yuta spread thumbtacks in the ring but it proved fatal for them when Jericho dropped Moxley on them with a Judas Effect. Eddie had to break Walls of Jericho on Moxley by throwing thumbtacks at Jericho’s face.

Tay Conti stole the cage keys from the referee and opened it. Jericho climbed to the top of the cage as Ruby Soho attacked Conti to stop her from more interference. Eddie followed Jericho up the cage for a brawl. Sammy Guevara also climbed to the top, but he got thrown down into a table by Eddie. Jericho puts Eddie in Walls of Jericho. Claudio went up and broke it with an uppercut. Claudio put Jericho in the swing when Menard came up to stop him.

Claudio blocked him move and put him in a sharpshooter while Eddie put Jericho in Stretch Plum. But it was Menard who tapped out first to Claudio Castagnoli. Blackpool Combat Club won the match but Eddie Kingston with the finish as he was not able to humiliate Jericho.
