Dean Ambrose, also known as Jon Moxley, has taken part in 5 matches at WrestleMania before he left WWE in 2019. He has three wins at WrestleMania and lost two other matches. 1. WrestleMania 29 – The Shield vs Randy Orton, Sheamus & The Big Show

Ambrose was part of The Shield when he was introduced in WWE. The group challenged the pair of Randy Orton and Sheamus for a match at WrestleMania 29. Orton and Sheamus got the Big Show as the partner even the odds and make it a six men tag team match. Only in their first WrestleMania match, the Shield was able to take advantage of a lack of chemistry between their opponents. Big Show could only watch when Randy Orton intervened to get the tag from Sheamus instead of Show. After a spear from Roman Reigns, Ambrose pinned Orton to win the match.


2. WrestleMania 30 – The Shield vs Kane & New Age Outlaws(Road Dogg & Billy Gunn)

Kane was the Authority figure who ordered the Shield to attack commentator Jerry Lawler, but the Shield turned on Kane and attacked him to turn face. Kane then teamed up with the New Age Outlaws to attack Shield on an episode of SmackDown, which set up the match between the Shield against Kane and the Outlaws at WrestleMania 30. The Shield was able to get a decisive win over their rivals in a match which only lasted 2 minutes and 49 seconds. Kane was taken out by a spear from Roman Reigns and Shield hit The Outlaws with Triple Powerbomb before Seth Rollins pinned Billy Gunn to win the match.


3. WrestleMania 31 – Ladder Match for WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dean Ambrose lost to Intercontinental Champion Wade Barret at Fastlane in a singles match. After this, it was announced that Barrett would defend his title at WrestleMania in a multi-person Ladder match. Ambrose was also inserted in the match along with Daniel Bryan, R-Truth, Luke Harper, Dolph Ziggler and Stardust. Ambrose, however, failed to win the title as he was injured after being sent into a ladder by Luke Harper and was left the match midway. Daniel Bryan later won the match after he headbutted Dolph Ziggler over the ladder and unhooked the title belt.


4. WrestleMania 32 – vs Brock Lesnar, Street Fight

Ambrose, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were involved in the triple threat match for the no. 1 contender to challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As Lesnar had Roman Reigns in the Kimura Lock, Ambrose attacked Lesnar with a steel chair and incapacitated Lesnar. Reigns pinned Ambrose to win the match after a spear. An irate Lesnar attacked Ambrose on the next day backstage on a RAW episode. Next week, Ambrose came out in an Ambulance to challenge Brock Lesnar for the No Holds Barred Street Fight. With Lesnar clearly the more powerful man, Ambrose used a number of weapons to take advantage multiple times. He hit Lesnar with many moves using the steel chairs but ultimately Lesnar performed F5 on Ambrose over the steel chairs to win the match.


5. WrestleMania 33 – vs Baron Corbin – WWE Intercontinental Championship

Dean Ambrose was involved in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, where he eliminated Baron Corbin after a roll-up. Corbin retaliated by attacking Ambrose during the match which led to Ambrose being eliminated. A similar thing happened again at no. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal when Ambrose eliminated Corbin, and Corbin again retaliated by hitting Ambrose with End of Days. Corbin later challenged Ambrose for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania. Ambrose started the match strongly but Corbin took control after Ambrose crashed into the steel post. After Corbin dominated for the next few minutes, both stars went back and forth in the match. Ambrose kicked out of the pin after Corbin hit Deep Six. But as Corbin went for the end of days, Ambrose hit the dirty deeds to win the match. This was Ambrose’s first victory as a singles competitor at WrestleMania.
