Report: Aldis Backstage on RAW August 7 For Producer Role

Nick Aldis is said to be making his way to WWE Raw with the potential role of a backstage producer.

According to information from Mike Johnson at PW Insider, it has been stated that Nick Aldis is scheduled to be in Minneapolis on August 7, 2023, episode of RAW, fulfilling a backstage role as a producer. 

PWInsider reported a while back that WWE is looking at Aldis for the producer role, and not for the in-ring role. The same was repeated again when they reported that Aldis is backstage at RAW. Today, PWInsider added that he will be at a number of upcoming TV tapings.

During a recent appearance on K100 with Konnan and Disco, Aldis addressed his potential involvement with WWE, stating that he couldn’t deny these rumors regarding his potential work with the company.

In November last year, Aldis faced suspension from NWA as a result of his unfavorable remarks, which eventually led to his departure. 

Aldis worked in IMPACT Wrestling from April to July this year where also challenged Alex Shelley for IMPACT World Championship. Aldis’s recent one-on-one match was against Gustavo, where he emerged victorious.
