AEW vs NXT Ratings- 27 January 2021: NXT Goes Close To Beat AEW

AEW Dynamite was able to beat WWE NXT in overall viewership and ratings but week 68 of the Wednesday Night War was a close contest.

27 January 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite drew 734,000 viewers on TNT Network. This was down 14% from last week. WWE NXT on the same night was able to add 9.3% viewers from last week with 720,000 total viewers.

The data from Showbuzz Daily had AEW Dynamite ranked #64 in total viewership, while NXT ranked #67 in viewership for 27 January episode.

AEW Dynamite drew a 0.29 rating (-19.44% from last week) in the 18-49 demographic. The show was ranked #6 in the Cable Top 150 for the 18-49 demo. NXT was ranked #24 with 0.21 ratings(+40% from last week) in the 18-49 demographic.

This was NXT’s best viewership since the December 16 episode which drew 766,000 viewers. The episode saw NXT Champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly defeat NXT Tag Team Champions Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan in the main event match. The Dusty Rhodes Classics quarterfinal bouts also took place at the show.
