AEW TV Debut on TNT Sold Out Under 2 Hours

AEW has continued their streak to sell out arenas as the tickets for AEW TV Debut on TNT at Capital One Arena in Washington are sold out in an hour or so.

AEW weekly TV show will debut on TNT on 2 October this year. The tickets went on sale yesterday at 12 PM ET and were sold out in an hour or two. The demands were high and fans trying to book the ticket faced many problems. So much so, that AEW EVPs took to twitter to tell fans that while website causing problems, the tickets are still available and they should continue trying to book.

In another update from AEW, there are some tickets that will be released for sale in the coming days. Reportedly, AEW has kept around 3000 tickets off the sale since they are still trying to figure out their production setup. A large chunk of those tickets will go on sale at later date.

Earlier, the tickets for AEW Double or Nothing and All Out also sold out pretty quickly. Double or Nothing tickets were sold out in 4 minutes but a large chunk of the tickets from the show was already sold in the pre-sale. However, all the tickets for All Out were sold out merely in 15 minutes.

AEW’s weekly TV show will air live between 8 pm-10 pm ET every Wednesday starting from 2 October. The line-up for the first show is announced as below:

  • Cody Rhodes vs Sammy Guevara
  • Jon Moxley to appear
  • Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks vs Chris Jericho and 2 Mystery partners
  • AEW Women’s Championship Match
