AEW Reportedly Created Titles for Trios

According to the latest reports, AEW has created championship belts for trios. 

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that AEW has already created titles for the trios and now it is only a matter of time before the promotion’s president Tony Khan will introduce them. 

Currently, AEW has several hot trios like Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta), The Undisputed Elite (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish), Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks, and hence it only makes sense for them to introduce the titles now. 

However, AEW reportedly wants the former AEW Champion, Kenny Omega to be back in action before they reveal the trios’ titles. Omega is currently healing from several injuries, and will likely take a few more months before returning to the squared circle. 

Once, AEW President Tony Khan also discussed the trios’ titles where he stated that he would like to hold a tournament to crown the inaugural champions. 

Now, it will be interesting to see when AEW will officially announce the arrival of the trios’ titles to the promotion.
