AEW will air a rare live episode of AEW Rampage on August 5, 2022, and the results from the show will be posted here with live updates.

Jon Moxley will be in action before his title defense against Chris Jericho. He will be facing Mance Warner in a World title eliminator. Maidson Rayne will make her AEW in-ring debut in a singles match.

AEW Tag Team Champions Swerve in Our Glory’s Keith Lee and Shane Strickland will look to settle their rivalry against Tony Nese and Josh Woods in a tag team street fight. Expect more promos to set up Battle of the Belts 3 special on this episode.

Jon Moxley(c) vs Mance Warner – AEW World Championship Eliminator

Jon Moxley makes his entrance to open the show. We get a promo video from Mance Warner before he makes his entrance. Moxley gets to the ramp to attack Warner. Warner sends him into the steel steps and barricade. They get into the ring and the bell rings. They are quickly out of the ring where Moxley ends up sending Warner through a chair with a suplex. Warner hits back with chops and drops Moxley on the barricade. Back to the ring, Warner hits a big chop in the corner. He hits more chops as Moxley moves from one corner to another.

Moxley now hits back with chops of hiw own. Moxley hits a dropkick to the leg and then hits a dragon screw leg. Mox puts on the figure four. Warner pokes at his eyes to break the lock. Warner hits several jabs in the corner. Mox returns the favor with jabs of his own. Warner reverses a whip and hits a dropkick. Mox goes to the floor and Warner whips him into the steel steps. Warner now hits a suplex on Moxley onto the chair. Moxley runs back to the ring. Moxley hits some knee strikes. They are back to the floor. Warner counters with a DDT to take us to a break.

Warner stomps on Moxley’s leg as we return from the break. He hits a spinebuster to get a two-count. Mox shows him middle finger and eats a cowboy boot in return. Warner throws in some chairs into the ring and the referee tells him that it will be a disqualification. Moxley punches the chair out of his hands. Mox’s hand is hurt while Warner is also bloodied. Moxley hits a suicide dive, hits a corner clothesline and a superplex to get a two-count.

Moxley softens his neck with big shots. Warner hits back but Moxley hits him with a knee to cut him off. Mox puts on kimura for a while. He switches to stomps to the face and then hits a piledriver. Moxley puts on the bulldog choke to get the pin.

Winner – Jon Moxley

Ricky Starks was interviewed at Dynamite but got interrupted by QT Marshall and the Factory. Marshall offers him protection from Powerhouse Hobbs after he has been beaten up by him from the last two weeks. Aaron Solow offers some advice to his former tag team partner, but Starks just get upset with the Factory and goes away.


Konosuke Takeshita vs Ryan Nemeth

Takeshita ducks a punch and unloads with pucnhes. He hits a flying clothesline. A big boot to the corner follows. Takeshita unloads from the second rope now. Peter Avalon picks his leg from the floor and Nemeth takes advantage with some shots. Takeshita comes back with a blue thunderbomb. Takeshita hits a driving knee and gets the pin.

Winner – Konosuke Takeshita

Peter Avalon attacks Takeshita after the match but Takeshita quickly nails him with a driving knee to send him packing.


Lexi Nair caught up with Orange Cassidy and Best Friends last Wednesday. Chuck Taylor says they are not at their best recently. Trent Baretta says they work best when they are together and focus on the word “Trio”. Dr. Danhausen join them as they stack their hands.

Leila Gray vs Madison Rayne

Gray and Rayne lock up. Gray pushes Rayne to the corner and the referee calls for a break. They switch waistlock a bunch of times. Gray hits a back elbow. Rayne gets a pin attempt. She hits an armdrag. She keeps the arm under pressure and hits another armdrag after a while. Gray pushes her to the corner. She hits a boot to the midsection. Rayne hits back with a kick from the apron. Stokely Hathaway stomps on the steel steps to distract Rayne. Gray knocks her off the apron to take us to a break.

Rayne comes back with a jawbreaker as we return. Rayne hits big shots and hits a Northern Light suplex to get a two-count. Gray hits a side slam to get a two-count. Hathaway is looking tense on the floor. They trade elbow shots. Gray misses a facebuster and Rayne hits a sliding clothesline. Rayne hits cross-Rayne to get the pin.

Winner – Madison Rayne

Jade Cargill comes out to the stage and says good help is hard to find these days and she should have handled Rayne herself. Cargill says she is big on charity and invites Rayne for her open challenge next week on Dynamite. Keira Hogan attacks her from behind. Rayne hits Hogan with Cross-Rayne.


We get a video package for La Faccion De Ingobernables vs Lucha Bros Tornado Tag Team match at Dynamite next week. Rush and Andrade ask that the match should be Lucha Rules match if Lucha Bors are true Luchadors.


We get the usual split screen between the main event fighters for the night.

Swerve in Our Glory(Keith Lee & Shane “Swerve” Strickland) vs Tony Nese & Josh Woods – Tag Team Street Fight

The brawling has started on the floor. Woods nails Lee with elbows but Lee no-sells them and hits big chops on Woods. Swerve drops Nese on the chair with a drop toe hold. Swerve and Lee are beating up Woods. Nese throws some Protein powder into Lee’s eyes. Swerve kicks the powder box out of his hands. Swerve brings out a toolbox but it is kicked out of his hands by Woods. Nese drops on Lee with the toolbox. Woods hits a brainbuster on Nese on the steel steps. We cut to a break.

Swerve fights back against Woods and Nese on the apron as they were attempting to put him through a table. Nese hits a driving knee to Swerve in the ring. Lee runs over Nese and then runs over Woods. He hits corner splashes before throwing Nese into Woods. Sterling hits Lee with a steel chair. Lee does not get affected much and snatches the chair from Sterling. Nese and Woods hits Lee with dropkicks against the chair. They hit a double DDT on Lee on the chair.

Swerve breaks the pin with a 450-splash. Sterling pushes a table into the ring. Swerve nails Nese with a knee. Sterling hits Swerve with a wrench from behind. Woods sets up Swerve on the table. Lee pulls out Woods and drops him on the floor. Lee then drops Nese with a headbutt. Sterling himself goes to the top in an attempt to put Swerve through the table. Lee throws him Sterling through the table instead.

Woods tries to put Lee through a double table but Lee hangs on the ropes. Woods nails Lee with big shots on the arm. Nese nails Lee with a superkick and Woods puts Lee through the table. Woods is also hurt. Nese brings in many chairs into the ring now. Swerve fights back and drops Nese on the chairs with a back body drop. He hits Swerve stomp on the chair to get the pin.
