AEW Rampage episode of March 11, 2022, will be a pre-taped episode. The show will be taped at Hertz Arena in Estero, FL, with AEW Dynamite episode of March 9.

4 singles matches are announced for the show. Shane “Swerve” Strickland will make his AEW in-ring debut against Tony Nese. Keith Lee will take on QT Marshall. Darby Allin faces Mark Quen while Jamie Hayer will take on Mercedes Martinez.

Mark Quen vs Darby Allin

Darby starts with an armlock. Quen tries to get out of it and Darby switches to a side headlock. More grappling follows. Darby sends Quen to the floor but stops before hitting a dive as Kassidy gets in between them. Quen sends Darby into the steel steps. Darby crashed on his knees. Quen drops Darby on the ropes. He slams him from corner to corner with a whip.

Quen stomps on Darby before hitting some shoulder blocks in the corner. Quen keeps control for a while. Darby counters on the ropes but Quen trips him on the apron to take us to the break.

Darby hits a superplex as we return. Quen takes him to the ropes as Darby puts on a front facelock. Quen hits a backflipping knee drop for a two-count. Quen hits a backflipping DDT for another two-count. Darby counters a suplex with Scorpion Death Drop. Sting attacks Kassidy as he tries to get involved. Quen hits Darby with a dive on the floor and then hits 450-splash from the top to the floor. Back to the ring, Quen goes for the Shooting Star Press, but Darby moves away and puts on the armbar to get the submission.

Winner – Darby Allin

Andrade’s stable come out to the ramp and are looking to attack Sting and Darby. But before they could do anything, The Hardy Boys come out to scare them away.

Jamie Hayter vs Mercedes Martinez

They start with a lock-up. Switching waistlocks before Hayter takes down Martinez for a side headlock. Martinez puts on a sleeper using her legs. Hayter gets to the ropes. They lock up again. Martine hits blows in the corner. Hayter replies with a big boot. Martinez hits a clothesline and follows with more shots. Hayter rakes her face. Hayter keeps control in the corner as we cut to a break.

Martinez hits double underhook suplex for a two-count. Martinez goes for fisherman buster before Hayter counters with a backbreaker. They trade more strikes. Martinez drops Hayter with a forearm strike. Hayter hits back with a boot. Martinez hits her with an overhead throw. Martinez hits an avalanche German suplex and Hayter lands on her neck. Dr. Britt Baker knocks Martinez off the top when the referee was checking on Hayter. Hayter hits a big lariat and gets the pin.

Winner – Jamie Hayter

Baker, Hayter, and Rebel are looking to continue with a post-match beatdown, but Thunder Rosa comes to make the save.

Hikaru Shida is backstage. She says she has been thinking about revenge for Deeb’s attack that put her out of action, and she has decided that she will cut her head off.

Keith Lee vs QT Marshall

Lee starts with a headbutt. Marshall escapes a knuckle lock after Lee hoists him up for a while. Marshall hits some punches but Lee replies with a chop. Marshall is tossed across the ring. Marshall hits a missile dropkick. Lee no-sells some punches. Marshall counters in the corner, only to run into a lariat from Lee. Lee has Marshall up onto his shoulders, but Comoroto grabs Lee’s boot. Marshall hits a thrust kick but Marshall counters a Diamond Cutter with a big tackle. Lee hits Big Bang Catastrophe to get the pin.

Winner – Keith Lee

Aaron Solo jump on Lee from behind but gets tossed with ease. Comoroto also comes into the ring to trade strikes until Lee hits a pop-up powerbomb. Lee throws Solo over the top rope onto Marshall and Comoroto on the floor. Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs run down from commentary and attack Lee. Hobbs hits Lee with a spinebuster.

Tony Nese vs Shane “Swerve” Strickland

Swerve hits a couple of hip-toss after Nese starts with some grappling. Nese kicks at his midsection. Some quick moves from Swerve to drop Nese – headscissores, low dropkicks and more. Swerve is sent to the floor where he avoids a bunch of Nese’s attempts. Swerve hits a penalty kick from the apron. Nese traps Swerve in the apron cloth and hits him with a dropkick. We cut to a break.

Swerve hits back with more strikes as we return. Nese comes back and drops Swerve’s face on the ropes. Nese misses a springboard moonsault. Swerve hits big chops before running elbow in the corner. He follows with a big uppercut. A side suplex is followed by a deadlifht vertical suplex. Nese hits a slap as Swerve goes to the top. Nese drops him on his knees for a near fall.

Back and forth action until Nese hits a spinning kick. He quickly follows with a 450-splash but Swerve kicks out of the pin. They trade more strikes. Swerve counters a pumphandle slam. Swerve hits a thrust kick and foot stomp on the apron. Then, he hits a flatliner in the ring for a near fall. Swerve could not believe it. He hits a kick to the head and then, a double stomp from the top for the pin and the win.

Shane Strickland vs Tony Nese: As Swerve was getting ready for his in-ring debut, Tony Nese came to welcome him and they will throw down once again, reminiscing their Friday Nights.

Jamie Hayter vs Mercedes Martinez: Hayter and Martinez have been at odds even before Team Baker turned on Martinez. They will finally face-off in the ring at Rampage this week.

Darby Allin vs Mark Quen: AHFO turned on Matt Hardy last week, which saw Darby Allin and Sting making the save with Jeff Hardy. Now, Allin will take on Mark Quen to continue the rivalry.

Keith Lee vs QT Marshall: When Marshall offered help against Team Taz, Keith Lee made it clear that while his back is large, he does not need anyone else’s help to take care of it. They will face-off in the ring at Rampage this week.
