AEW NJPW Forbidden Door Results

Welcome to the live results and coverage blog for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 PPV event from United Center in Chicago.

The first big crossover event between AEW and NJPW will be headlined by the interim AEW World Championship match between Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi. IWGP World Heavyweight title will be on the line in a star-studded fatal 4-way match between Jay White, Kazuchika Okada, Adam Page and Adam Cole. The only women’s match on the card will see Thunder Rosa defend the AEW Women’s title against Toni Storm.

The first-ever AEW All Atlantic Champion will be crowned as Malakai Black, PAC, Miro and Clark Connors clash in another fatal 4-way match. Will Ospreay will be in action against Orange Cassidy to defend his IWGP US Heavyweight Championship. Both ROH and IWGP World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as FTR(Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood), United Empire(Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb) and Roppongi Vice(Trent Baretta & Rocky Romero) take part in a three-way match.

A new AEW signing and Blackpool Combat Club member will face Zack Sabre Jr. in the only singles non-title match on the card. A couple of trios match will complete the main card. Chris Jericho teams up with Sammy Guevara and Minoru Suzuki as they battle for Man Advantage in the Blood & Guts match against Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta and Shota Umino. The Young Bucks and El Phantasmo will face Sting, Darby Allin and Shingo Takagi.

The Buy-In pre-show will feature three tag team matches. Keith Lee and Shane Strickland battle against Suzuki-Gun’s El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. QT Marshall & Aaron Solo face Yoshi-Hashi and Hirooki Goto while The LA Dojo will take on Gunn Club & Max Caster.

The Factory(QT Marshall & Aaron Solo) vs Bishamon(Yoshi-Hashi & Hirooki Goto)

Solo starts with a kick to midsection to Yoshi-Hashi. Yoshi-Hashi puts on a side headlock. Solo grabs the hair and Yoshi-Hashi nails him with a chops. Solo hits back with a dropkick. Yoshi-Hashi explodes out of corner with a shoulder tackle. Marshall and Goto tag in. Marshall counters waistlock into an arm wrench. Goto hits him with a shoulder tackle and then htis a big slap at the chest. QT tags out to Solo. Solo drops Yoshi-Hashi from the apron. Goto fights them off with tackles. Yoshi-Hashi gets in for a double tackle on Solo.

QT pulls out Yoshi-Hashi to the floor and Solo knocks off Goto to the floor. QT hits a QT special dive on the floor. Solo hits a diving foot stomp on Goto. QT and Solo keep Goto in their corner with quick tags. Goto counters a suplex with one of his own against Solo. QT comes and Goto drops him with a lariat. Yoshi-Hashi tags in and hits a back body drop. Solo breaks the pin attempt and takes out both opponents on the floor.

QT signals the Diamond Cutter, but Yoshi-Hashi blocks it. QT hits an enzuigiri and Solo hits a twisting kick. QT hits the Diamond Cutter but Goto breaks the pin. QT misses a senton and Yoshi-Hashi hits a basement dropkick on Solo. Goto comes in for some double team on Solo. Solo is nailed with a superkick from Yoshi-Hashi. QT eats a superkick and Ushi-Garoshi combo. Goto and Yoshi-Hashi hits Naraku finisher on Solo to get the pin.

Lance Archer vs Nick Comoroto

Archer hits a cannonball on Comoroto and unloads with big right hands. Comoroto hits back with a chop but Archer hits back with his punch. Archer hits a big boot. Comoroto sends him to the apron, drops his neck on ropes and tackles him to the barricade. Comoroto works on Archer on the floor briefly. He hits a big elbow drop in the ring now. Archer nails an elbow but Comoroto hits him with a backbreaker. Comoroto hits knees to the back and punches at Archer’s face.

Archer hypes up as he eats punches, but he is down to his knees after more punches. Archer hits an Urinage. He hypes up and tears off his shirt. They start to trade shots now. Comoroto hits a knee to midsection. Archer explodes out of the corner with a clothesline. A boot up to the face from Archer before he walks on the ropes to hit a moonsault. Comoroto fights out of Blackout and hits a running powerslam to get a two-count. Archer nails him with a knee as Comoroto goes to the top. Archer hits the Blackout to get the pin.

Keith Lee & Shane “Swerve Strickland” vs El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru

Lee starts against Kanemaru. The crowd chants Swerve in his Glory. Lee wants show of strength and Kanemaru gets to the second rope for it. Kanemaru rakes his chest to start. Lee drops him with a clothesline. Swerve and Desperado tag in. Swerve no-sells a tackle and gets the crowd going. Desperado goes for Numero Dos and Swerve gets to the ropes immediately. Swerve pushes Desperado to the floor and Desperado puts him in the Numero Dos. Back to the ring, Swerve sends him to the corner and hits him with a dropkick.

Lee tags in and holds Desperado, but Swerve ends up hitting Lee with a dropkick to his knee as Desperado moves away. Kanemaru comes in quickly and works on Lee’s knee. Suzuki-Gun duo goes for a double whip but Lee fights back. He was looking for a powerbomb on Kanemaru but Desperado hits him with a low dropkick and Kanemaru counters with a DDT. Desperado works on the leg until Lee kicks him away. Swerve tags in and drops Desperado with running forearms and slingblade. Kanemaru is knocked off the apron. Swerve hits an uppercut to the back of the head. They both block suplexes.

Desperado hits a back elbow and Swerve hits a brainbuster in return to get a two-count. Swerve hits a high boot, Desperado hits a back elbow and a spinebuster. Kanemaru comes in for dropkick and a back suplex combo. Lee is kept out with a kick to the ropes and a dropkick. Swerve blocks Pinche Loco. They trade shots before Swerve hitting a backbreaker. Desperado hits a big boot. Swerve hits him with a flatliner. Kanemaru and Lee tag in. Kanemaru hits low dropkicks again and drops Lee. Kanemaru puts on the figure four. Desperado also puts on Numero Dos on Swerve.

Lee catches Desperado and sends him into Kanemaru to break the lock. Lee misses in the corner but Kanemaru fails in his sunset flip. Lee goes for a powerbomb. Desperado pushes Swerve from the top to the floor. Kanemaru spits whiskey on Lee’s face. Kanemaru hits dropkicks on Lee. Swerve comes in to hit Kanemaru with a running kick. He hits a diving foot stomp on Desperado on the apron. Lee hits Big Bang Catastrophe to get the pin.

Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Billy Gunn & Max Caster vs NJPA LA Dojo(The DKC, Kevin Knight, Alex Coughlin & Yuya Uemera)

Caster comes out rapping with references to Shibata and others. Danhausen appear on the screen and plays a song to mock Gunn Club and Acclaimed. Austin and Colten run backstage to find Danhausen. The Dojo attacks Caster and Billy Gunn. Coughlin hits Billy with a fallaway slam to send him to the floor. Caster starts against Coughlin and eats another fallaway slam. Knight tags in and hits quick shots. He hits a corner splash and another slam. Uemera tags in.

Caster fights back with a big boot to Uemera and shots at others. Uemera hits him with a bulldog. Caster hits knees to DKC but he hits him back with punches and chops. A snap suplex from DKC before a five knuckle shuffle. Knight tags in and stomps on Caster. Caster fights back against Kevin and DKC. Caster hits a back body drop on Knight and tags in Billy Gunn. Billy hits shots at Coughlin and DKC before a shot at Knight. Uemera is dropped to the floor. Billy hits a Famessser on DKC. Caster tags in and hits mic drop elbow drop to get the pin.

Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki vs Shota Umino, Eddie Kingston & Wheeler Yuta – Winner Gets The Man Advantage in Blood & Guts Match

Eddie throws his headband on Jericho as he gets into the ring. Sammy was starting against Yuta but Jericho tags in. Yuta replies to Jericho’s barbs with slaps. Yuta hits a bunch of German suplexes. Jericho finally breaks it with a back elbow. Yuta hits him with a Samoan drop and puts on crossface. Sammy comes in to break the submission and the match breaks down into chaos. Jericho sends Yuta into the steel steps. Sammy does the same to Eddie. Suzuki is fighting Umino. Sammy tags in and hits a knee to Yuta. Sammy mocks Eddie and this leads to Eddie getting into the ring unloading on Sammy.

The referee sends him back. Sammy hits a dropkick on Yuta. The show off from Sammy gives Yuta the time to recover. Yuta hits him with a knee and tags in Umino. Umino hits a dropkick after Yuta drops him to the mat. Sammy rakes Umino’s eyes and tags in Jericho. Jericho hits big chops. Umino hits him with forearms in the corner. Eddie tags in but Jericho tags to Suzuki. Eddie removes his vest to start hitting chops at each other. Eddie hits a few chops to take Suzuki to the corner. Suzuki no-sells machine gun chops and drops Eddie with a big chop of his own. Jericho tags in against Eddie and stomps on him in the corner.

Eddie hits back with a kick before hitting machine gun chops. Eddie knocks off Sammy from the apron. Suzuki puts on an armbar on the ropes and rakes his fingers. Jericho starts to work on Eddie’s arm. Suzuki comes in and knocks off Umino and Yuta. Suzuki puts Yojigatami on Eddie, Sammy puts on crossface on Yuta and Jericho puts on Boston Crab on Umino. Those moves are let go quickly. Eddie counters a dive from Sammy with an exploder. Eddie drops him face first and tags in Umino.

Umino knocks off Jericho before hitting big uppercuts on Sammy. Suzuki comes in and hits ax handle on his back. Umino drops him with a clothesline. Umino hits Sammy with fisherman suplex. Jericho breaks the pin. Umino sends him to the floor and hits him with a suplex. Sammy hits him with a senton on the floor. Yuta sweeps him up with a suicide dive. Eddie hits an elbow suicida on Sammy.

Yuta tags in and drops Sammy. Jericho’s breakup attempt ends up in his elbow drop on Sammy. Yuta sends Jericho back to the floor. Sammy hits a standing Spanish Fly on Yuta. Eddie gets a blind tag and puts Sammy in a submission. Suzuki comes in to break it. Everyone starts to get involved and the sequence ends with a splash from Yuta on Sammy. Jericho and Umino tag in. Jericho hits him with a codebreaker, but fails to put on Liontamer. Jericho goes to the top and Umino hits him with an avalanche powerslam. Suzuki breaks the pin again. Tay Conti swings a bat at Yuta. Sammy drops Yuta from behind. Eddie is dealt by Suzuki on the floor.

Jericho hits another codebreaker. He was looking for a lionsault but Eddie nails him with cheap shot backfist. Jericho kicks out of the pin. Conti hits Umino with a bat at his back. Umino recovers to hits DDT and brainbuster, but Jericho still kicks out. Umino puts Jericho in the liontamer. Sammy comes in with superkicks but Umino refuses to let it go. Suzuki hits him with a headbutt to break it. Eddie comes in and Suzuki hits him with Gotch Piledriver. Umino fights back against Suzuki and Sammy but Jericho nails him with Judas Effect.

Trent and Dax start the match. Daz hits a shoulder tackle. They trade side headlock takedowns. Cobb tags in and pushes Dax to the corner. Dax avoids shot in the corner before Cobb hits a tackle to drop him. Romero takes a blind tag on Cobb. FTR corner Rocky and work double team on him with quick moves. Cash holds Rocky as Dax hits him with an elbow drop. Dax has hurt himself and a doctor checks on him. Rocky hits running elbows on Cash in the corner. Dax is taken backstage. Great-O-Khan tags in from Romero. He hits Mangolian chops on Cash.

Cobb beats up Cash on the floor for a while before throwing him back in. Khan rakes Cash’s face into the turnbuckle with his hips. Cobb comes and stops Cash’s attempt to fight back. Cobb hits Cash with a hard whip. Cobb throws Cash away. Khan tags back in and Cash pulls his braid. Cash tags in Trent. Trent hits Khan with half and half suplex and a swinging DDT. Cobb nails him with a body shot. Cobb hits a suplex before Trent hits a big boot. Rocky hits Cobb with a hurricanrana. Khan hits Iron Claw Slam on Rocky on the apron. Rocky hits Khan with a knee drop and Trent runs over Cobb with a clothesline. Rocky hits a sliding knee on Khan in the ring, but Khan kicks out.

Cash tags in and fight against United Empire with chops. United Empire double team on him drop him. Romero and Trent are dropped off the apron. Dax returns with his left shoulder tapped. Cash sends Khan into Cobb and tags in Dax. Dax hits both opponents with shots. Dax nails a lariat to drop Khan. He hits German suplexes on Cobb. Dax is working on Cobb on the top. Trent comes in. Cash tags in while Dax and Trent hit Cobb with a double superplex. Cash goes for the pin but Cobb kicks out.

Trent drops Dax with a chop. Khan hits him with a German suplex. Rocky stops Iron Clam Slam and work on Khan with Cash. Rocky hits Cash with a DDT. The breaks down as everyone starts to get involved. Cobb hits a standing moonsault on Trent before Khan drops him to the mat face-first. Trent kicks out of the pin somehow. Rocky takes the bling tag. Khan is pulled out by FTR. Rocky hits FTR with a suicide dive. Trent and Rocky hits Strong Zero/Diving stomp combo and Cash breaks the pin. Dax tags in and gets a two-count with roll-up. Rocky hits sidekicks on his arm. An enzuigiri follows before Cash comes in to hit Big Rig on Rocky to get the pin.

PAC vs Miro vs Malakai Black vs Clark Connors – Fatal 4-Way match for AEW All Atlantic Championship

Black and PAC go to the floor immediately. Connors hits some quick moves on Miro in the ring. Connors is knocked with a back elbow. Miro unloads on him in the corner. Connors hits more quick shots before Miro hits him with a body slam. Black tries to get in but is knocked off by Miro. Miro and Connors get to the floor and Miro hits Connors with another body slam on the floor. Black knocks off Miro. PAC and Black fight in the ring now. Black stomps a sunset flip. Black hits a big kick on PAC.

Miro comes and hits his shots on Black. Black hits a springboard moonsault on him. Connors comes in and Black nails him with a knee strike. Black puts on knee bar. Miro drags Connors to the floor to break the submission. PAC sends Black to the corner. Miro hits tackles on both PAC and Black in the corner. Miro catches PAC’s dive and hits him with a fallaway slam. Connors comes in and hits his shots on Miro but Miro does not get affected. Malakai drops him with an Urinage to get a two-count. Miro hits a short clothesline before hitting a lariat. Miro throws him over with a gutwrench suplex.

Black and PAC fight in the other corner now. Miro throws Connors to the floor and joins Black in stomping PAC. Black and Miro face off over who will stomp on PAC. They argue for a bit before coming to blows. Miro nails Black with big rights to send him to the floor. PAC hits a tackle from the apron. Miro drops him with a Samoan drop to get a two-count. Miro signals for the Machka kick but PAC cuts him off with a superkick. PAC sends Connors to the floor with a back body drop.

PAC hits a tope suicida on Black. He hits an avalanche shotgun dropkick on Miro. Black is hit with a German suplex. Black hits a rising knee on PAC before Connors drops him with a German suplex. Miro drops Connors before Black hits him with a rising knee. Black sets up a table on the floor against a barricade. He goes to throw Miro into the table but Miro drives him into the steel steps. PAC sends Miro into the ringpost. PAC hits him with a knee and Connors spears him through the table. Connors and Black trade strikes in the ring.

Connors hits lariat and a powerslam. PAC hits combination kicks before Connors hits Trophy Kail. Black breaks the pin. Connors sends Black to the floor. PAC nails him with a superkick. PAC goes to the top and Black trips him. Connors and Black go for superplex before Miro comes in and drops everyone with Tower of Doom. Miro nails PAC with Machka kick and puts on Game Over Camel Clutch on him. PAC is going towards the rope and Miro has to get him back. Black spits black mist on Miro. Black goes for a cross armbreaker on Connors. PAC hits them with Black Arrow. PAC puts on the Brutalizer on Connors to get the submission.

Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson & El Phantasmo vs Sting, Darby Allin & Shingo Takagi – Tag Team Match

Sting appears on the top of the arena before the lights go out. Sting takes out Bullet Club with a dive from the top of the tunnel. Shingo and Darby join him in the attack on the stage. Darby throws Hikaleu off the stage. Shingo and El Phantasmo start the match. Shingo hits a tackle to drop Phantasmo before hitting him with a suplex. Sting tags in for a shoulder tackle. Shingo and Sting match each other move by move with elbow drop and senton on Phantasmo. Darby comes in and Phantasmo hits him with a knee to midsection.

Matt gets a blind tag and The Bucks double team on Darby. The Bucks knock off Shingo and Sting before hitting a dive on Darby. Bullet Club work on Darby with quick tags. Phantasmo shows off his athleticism for a while before raking Darby’s back. Matt does some handsprings before doing another back rack on Darby. Darby is put in a tree of woe to hit him with triple dropkick. Darby hits Phantasmo with a German suplex off the second rope. Hikaleu pulls out Sting from the apron to stop the tag. Darby hits double boot and Code Red on Phantasmo.

Shingo gets up on the apron for the tag. Shingo hits a body slam on Matt. He nails shots on Matt before hitting running elbows. He continues to fight off the Bucks. He hits a twisting suplex on Nick. Nick hits an enzuigiri before Shingo hits a Death Valley driver. Sting tags in and drops The Bucks in quick succession. Phantasmo is hit with Stinger splash. Sting stacks the Bucks in the corner for another Stinger splash. Phantasmo hits a sucker punch in the midsection of Sting. Darby hits cutter on Phantasmo.

The Bucks nails superkicks on Sting, Shingo and Darby. The Bucks work with quick double team moves. Phantasmo takes out Shingo and Darby with a moonsault. Sting is dropped with triple superkick. Sting counters BTE Trigger with double Scorpion drop. Phantasmo’s nipple are twisted by Sting now. Darby takes out Hikaleu with a Coffin Drop on the floor. Shingo tags in and hits shots on Phantasmo. He drops Phantasmo with a big shot before hitting Last of the Dragon to get the pin.

Thunder Rosa(c) vs Toni Storm – AEW Women’s World Champion

Rosa starts with a hammerlock. Storm breaks with headscissors attempt. A lot of back and forth reversals. Rosa hits a kick to midsection before a drop-down slap. Rosa hits chops before Storm hits back with a kick. Storm hits a snap suplex. She drives her knees on Rosa’s back. Rosa counters with a cradle to get a two-count. They trade shots at each other for a while.

Storm hits forearms and elbows to drop Rosa. Rosa hits a stunner. She charges with clothesline in the corner and then drops with double knees. A dropkick to the back before a snap suplex from Rosa. A double stomp gets her a two-count. Toni throws Rosa to the floor. Rosa hits her with a Northern Light suplex on the floor. Toni knocks her off the apron with a shoulder tackle. Toni goes to the top and Rosa nails her with an uppercut. Toni counters to hit a German Suplex on the apron and a tornado DDT on the floor.

Back to the ring, Toni hits a hip attack before another tornado DDT. Toni hits uppercuts. Rosa counters with a knee to the arm. A running knee and a Death Valley driver follow. She hits Fire Thunder Driver but Toni kicks out of it. Rosa hits kicks all over the body on Storm. Storm comes back with a German suplex. Rosa snaps her arm to drop her face-first to the floor. Rosa hits the Final Reckoning to get the pin.

Will Ospreay(c) vs Orange Cassidy – IWGP US Heavyweight Championship Match

Cassidy has his hands in the pocket as he hits tackles. Ospreay kips up after the second tackle. Some quick back and forth action. Cassidy hits a headscissors takedown after coming off the ropes. Ospreay goes to the floor but Cassidy decides against the suicide dive after seeing Aussie Open on the floor. Ospreay drops Cassidy on the ropes with a back body drop. Ospreay hits double knees on Cassidy against the barricade. Back to the ring, Ospreay continue to beat up Cassidy. He whips him hard into the turnbuckle before hitting a tilt a whirl backbreaker.

Ospreay boots Cassidy in the corner before hitting another hard Irish whip to get a two-count. Ospreay puts on the abdominal stretch and mocks him by putting his hands in Cassidy’s pocket. Cassidy hulks up to break out of the stretch and drops him with a hip toss. Cassidy slams him face into the turnbuckle a couple of times. A diving crossbody from the top from Cassidy before Ospreay counters by tossing him into the middle of the ring.

Ospreay hits a handspring kick to knock Cassidy down. Ospreay hits a diving elbow from the top to get another two-count. Ospreay was looking for the Hidden Blade but Cassidy fell down to the mat. Ospreay hits kicks to the head. He stands on top of Cassidy’s neck. Cassidy hulks up again as Ospreay hits more kicks to the head. Cassidy puts his hands in the pocket and invites more attack. Ospreay comes off the ropes into a dropkick from Cassidy. Cassidy kips up with his hands in the pocket.

Cassidy hits lazy kicks which pisses off Ospreay. Ospreay hits a forearm and Cassidy nails him with big shot. Cassidy hits kicks to the head for good now. Cassidy counters Ospreay’s springboard by stundog millionaire. He hits Michinoku Driver quickly to get a close two-count. Ospreay goes for the Peri Peri Sauce but Cassidy counters with a tornado DDT. Cassidy takes out Aussie Open with a moonsault on the floor when they try to interfere. Cassidy hits diving foot stomp from the top but Ospreay kicks out. Ospreay comes back with a standing Spanish Fly in the middle of the ring. He sets up Cassidy on the second rope to hit a superkick on the face. Cassidy slams his face into the camera on top of turnbuckle.

Cassidy plays possum as Ospreay is a bit dazed. Ospreay hits double jump moonsault but Cassidy gets his knees up on the shooting star press. Cassidy hits Spanish Fly but Ospreay kicks out of the pin. Ospreay counters Orange punch with a cutter. He quickly follows with Oscutter but Cassidy kicks out of the pin. Cassidy counters with a Code Red for a near fall. Ospreay hits Hidden Blade but Cassidy kicks out. Ospreay hits Stormbreaker to get the pin.

Winner – Will Ospreay

Aussie Open get into the ring now to beat up Cassidy. Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero come out but they are also beaten up and thrown out. Katsuyori Shibata’s music hits and he comes out. He wipes out Aussie Open before heading to the ring. He knocks Ospreay out with a pump kick. Shibata hits a dropkick in the corner before putting on a Rear Naked Choke. Aussie Open pull Ospreay out to save him. Cassidy recovers and has a face-off with Shibata. He puts his glasses on Shibata, gives a thumbs up and leaves the ring.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs Claudio Castagnoli

Claudio Castagnoli(Cesaro) is the surprise opponent for Zack Sabre Jr. A big ovation for Cesaro here as he comes out. Claudio hits an European uppercut right away to drop Sabre. Claudio hits the Neutralizer but Sabre kicks out of the pin. Sabre rolls to the floor and Claudio whips him to the barricade to hit him with an European uppercut. Castagnoli hits another whip to the barricade but misses the uppercut this time. Back to the ring, Sabre works on the arm on the ropes.

Claudio hits him with a big boot. He picks Sabre up for a delayed vertical suplex. Sabre puts on a knee bar on the ropes. He puts on another kneebar on the ropes and the referee warns him against it. Sabre goes for the arm bar but Claudio resists. Sabre does some joint manipulation to hurt his arm. Claudio gets pissed off with Sabre’s kicks. Sabre avoids a corner tackle and works on the shoulder now. He drops Claudio face first on the mat. Sabre continues to work on the arm before switching to an ankle lock breifly.

A big uppercut on Claudio before he counters with a backbreaker. A running uppercut in the corner gets Claudio a two-count. Sabre puts on arm triangle. Claudio picks him but Sabre still has the triangle on. They end up on the floor with the lock on. Claudio picks him again, climbs up the steel steps and dumps Sabre into the ring with a powerbomb. Claudio was going for the swing but Sabre puts him in a guillotine. Claudio drops him on the turnbuckle. Sabre puts on the abdominal stretch on top of the turnbuckle and holds on until the referee’s 4 counts.

Claudio nails him with an uppercut and then brings him down with a superplex. A big uppercut drops Sabre again. Claudio looks for the swing again but Sabre kicks away. Claudio hits running uppercuts and puts on the swing. His arm is hurting after it though. Claudio goes for the sharpshooter but Sabre puts on a knee lock. Claudio struggles for a while before turning it around in the sharpshooter. Claudio has to resort to a double stomp after Sabre goes for the knee lock again.

They staredown now. Claudio nails more uppercuts to put Sabre down. Sabre counters with a sleeper hold. He transitions into a crucifix lock and Claudio has to get his legs to the ropes to break it. Claudio invites kicks from Sabre. He counters with an uppercut and a lariat. Sabre gets a two-count with European clutch bridge. Claudio hits a pop-up uppercut and a discuss lariat. He hits a powerbomb to get the pin.

Jay White(c) vs Adam Page vs Adam Cole vs Kazuchika Okada – Fatal 4-way match for IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

Cole has his shoulder taped up. White and Cole duck out of the ring. PAge and Okada get ready but Cole pulls out Page and White attacks Okada. Okada nails White with a big boot. Page comes in and joins Okada to hit White with a back elbow. Cole and White discuss on teaming up. Okada and Page start to hit them with shots. Page hits Cole with DDT on the floor. White drops Okada on the apron. White runs over Page as he was working on Cole on the ramp. White and Cole hits Page with a delayed vertical suplex.

Cole hits Okada with a neckbreaker in the ring. Cole holds Okada as White hits him with chops. White whips Okada to the corner and hits another chop. White slips to the floor and Page sends him into the steel steps. Cole hits a pump kick on Page on the apron. White saves Cole from Okada. Page comes into the ring and hits White with a springboard clothesline. He knocks Cole off before hitting a dive on White. Page hits a crossbody from the top to get a two-count. Page hits Cole with chops, taking him corner to corner. White runs into a back elbow from Page. Cole catches Page with a superkick as he was going for a moonsault.

Okada is back in the ring and start to hit forearms on White and Cole. A back elbow drops Cole and White is hit with a back body drop. Okada hits Cole with a dropkick on the top to knock him to the floor. A running boot sends White into the crowd. Okada throws Cole into the White and then takes them out with a running crossbody.

Okada puts on Money Clip on Cole. White comes in and hits Saito Suplex on Okada. Page comes in and White drops him. Page counters a German suplex with a pin attempt. Cole hits a kick to stop him from the pin. White and Cole discuss for a while and do Bullet Club sign. Cole hits White with a backstabber and a brainbuster to get a two-count. White counters by dropping Cole with a Saito suplex. Okada comes in and eats Saito suplex. Page is hit with sleeper suplex. Cole hit White with a pump kick. Okada hits Cole with a dropkick and Page drops Okada with a discus lariat. All four men are down. They start to trade strikes now.

White and Cole rake Page and Okada’s eyes. White hits Cole with a chop. More back and forth until Page hits White with a powerbomb to get a close two-count. Page gets ready for the Buckshot Lariat but Cole picks his leg. Page hits moonsault on Cole and Okada. Page is now stopped by Dick Togo. Page deals with him but misses Buckshot. Page counters Blade Runner to hit Dead Eye.

Page hits Buckshot Lariat on White and Okada has to come in to break the pin. Okada and Page trade shots now. Counters and Reversals continue until Page hits Okada with Dead Eye. Cole stops Page from Lariat and sends him into the ringpost. Okada and Cole go back and forth now. Okada drops Cole and hits him with an elbow drop. Cole ducks Rainmaker. Okada ducks Buckshot Lariat. Cole hits a superkick to send Page down to the floor.

Cole hits a superkick on Okada for a two-count. Okada nails him with a dropkick but Cole ducks the rainmaker. Cole hits Page with a superkick and Okada hits Cole with another dropkick. Okada hits a Michinoku driver and then hits the Rainmaker. White comes in and hits Okada with Blade Runner. White pins Cole to get the pin.

Winner – Jay White

The Young Bucks and Kyle O’Reilly come out to check on Cole and walk past White, throwing barbs at him.

Jon Moxley vs Hiroshi Tanahashi – Vacant Interim AEW World Championship Match

Both men counter waistlock and then go onto hammerlocks. Tanahashi has Moxley down in a side headlock. The referee calls for a clean break. Tanahashi puts on another side headlock. Moxley tries to send him to the ropes but Tanahashi holds on. Mox hits punches to ribs. Tanahashi hits him with a crossbody from the second rope. Mox gets mad Tanahashi playing air guitar and they start to trade forearm strikes. Tanahashi hits low dropkicks to his knees.

Tanahashi works on the knee now. He puts on a modified Indian Deathlock. Moxley gets to the ropes to break it. Tanahashi talks with the referee and Moxley catches him with a cutter. They trade chops now. Moxley nails forearm shots and sends Tanahashi to the corner. He sets up Tanahashi to hits a snap superplex. Moxley hits a piledriver to get a quick two-count.

Moxley puts Tanahashi in the Cloverleaf now. Mox changes to a crossface after a while. Tanahashi drags himself to the ropes to break it. They trade blows again. Tanahashi hits Mox with a slingblade before hitting more blows to the body. A body slam and a senton from Tanahashi follow. Mox sends him over the ropes. Tanahashi pulls himself back from the ropes but Moxley hits him with a clothesline. Mox sends Tanahashi into the barricade and then puts him through the table. Mox returns to the ring and the referee starts to count down. Tanahashi beats the count at nine.

Mox hits a big kick to the chest as he screams that he is the Ace. Tanahashi catches his kick but Mox stops the dragon screw with a cross armbreaker. Tanahashi gets to his feet and stomps on his face. Tanahashi hits a slingblade. Moxley slips out to the floor. He is split open also on the forehead. Tanahashi gets to the top and hits him with a crossbody. Tanahashi hits more shots on the floor.

Moxley tries to catch Tanahashi with Paradigm shift but Tanahashi hits him with swinging throw. Mox hits a DDT and gets a two-count in a cradle. Tanahashi blocks Paradigm shift and nails Mox with a headbutt. Tanahashi hits a crossbody now and then hits High Fly Flow. Tanahashi is late to cover and Moxley kicks out of the pin. He quickly puts on the bulldog choke. Moxley remains in control for a while before Tanahashi counters with a jacknife cover.

Moxley hits King Kong lariat but Tanahashi kicks out at one-count only. Moxley hits hammer elbows on the neck. He puts on the sleeper and then bulldog choke. Tanahashi gets back to his feet. Moxley hits hits Paradigm Shift and gets the pin.

Winner – Jon Moxley(new Interim AEW World Champion)

Moxley gets the interim title belt and celebrates his win. We come back from the replays and see Moxley and Tanahashi embracing. Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia attack them. Eddie Kingston charges at Jericho but he gets taken over by the numbers game. Santana and Ortiz run out to beat up Jericho and Garcia now. Rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society comes out now. Claudio runs out as his music hits and tees off on Jericho. He starts hitting uppercuts on each of the JAS member one by one. William Regal walks down the ramp. Claudio puts Angelo Parker in the swing and swings him around for 20 times. JAS leave to the ramp while Blackpool Combat Club rearrange in the Ring. Eddie Kingston throws barbs at Claudio now and argues with Moxley over him. The show goes off the air with BCC in the ring.
