AEW Road Rager Dynamite June 15, 2022 Results & Live Updates
AEW will present a special edition of Dynamite Road Rager on June 15, 2022, live from the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO. The event will also continue to build up towards Forbidden Door PPV and the upcoming Blood & Guts Dynamite special.
Qualifiers for the AEW All Atlantic Championship championship match will continue as Miro squares off with Ethan Page. Wardlow will face 20 security guards in a handicap match, whereas Chris Jericho & Ortiz will collide with their hair on the line. Jurassic Express defends AEW tag titles against the Young in a ladder match. Will Ospreay faces Dax Harwood while Britt Baker takes on Toni Storm.

Live Updates
Ortiz vs Chris Jericho – Hair vs Hair Match
Jericho starts with a takedown. He goes for a lionsault right away and Ortiz gets his knees up. Ortiz unloads on him. They get on the floor now. Ortiz keeps control. Jericho turns it back in the ring and unloads in the corner now. He goes for a hurricanrana from the top rope but Ortiz counters it with a powerbomb. Ortiz hits a diving headbutt to get a nearfall. Jericho slips to the floor and he cuts off Ortiz’s suicide dive. He hits a suplex from the apron to send Ortiz to the floor.
Jericho hits a delayed vertical suplex during the break. Ortiz starts to fire with his shots and chops now. He hypes up when Jericho hits him with chops and removes his waist. Ortiz hits quick chops. Jericho hits a big boot in the corner. Ortiz hits a cutter as Jericho goes to the top. Jericho stops a suplex and goes for the Liontamer. Ortiz counters with a pin attempt. He hits a DDT to get a two-count.
Jericho avoids a twisting moonsault and hits a Codebreaker quickly. Ortiz kicks out of the pin. Jericho puts on the Liontamer. Ortiz gets his hands on the ropes. Angelo Parker goes to remove his hands from the ropes and this prompts Eddie Kingston to attack him. A brawl starts at the ringside between Jericho Appreciation Society as Santana and others join it. The referee gets distracted and Eddie hits Jericho with a backfist. Jericho kicks out of the pin though. Jake Hager and Eddie Kingston get engaged in a brawl again and this distracts the referee again. Fuego Del Sol runs into the ring and hits Ortiz with a baseball bat. Jericho covers and gets the pin.
Winner – Chris Jericho
After the match, Eddie is in shock over Fuego’s betrayal. However, it was not Fuego under that mask, but it was Sammy Guevara. Ortiz snatches the trimmer away from the barber and starts to remove his hair while screaming “Blood and Guts.”
Wardlow vs 20 Plantiffs – Handicapped Elimination Match
Wardlow throws 3-4 guys out of the ring. Others try to gang up on him but he throws them out also. Wardlow starts to hit powerbombs on them one by one. He eliminates two plantiffs at a time. He hits more powerbombs and eliminates 4 more at a time. 3 more eliminations after more powerbombs. He sets up all the others in the middle of the ring after dropping them with more powerbombs. One of the plantiffs goes for a crossbody but Wardlow catches him and throws him on all the others with another powerbomb. He stacks all of them up to get the pin.
Winner – Wardlow
After the match, Wardlow goes and pulls Mark Sterling into the ring. Dan Lambert and Scorpio Sky interrupt from the skybox. They tell American Top Team’s Tyron Woodley and Matt Hughes, in the front row, to beat up Wardlow. Woodley and Hughes get into the ring but Wardlow tells them that hardworking mid-westerners like them might not like taking order from someone like Lambert. Woodley throws Sterling into Wardlow for him to hits another powerbomb. Hughes, Woodley and Wardlow celebrate in the ring.
Will Ospreay vs Dax Harwood
Ospreay starts with a wristlock and armwrench. Harwood reverses it before Ospreay springs out of it. Harwood puts on a side headlock and then hits a shoulder block. A back drop from Harwood before Ospreay leapfrogs and hits a tijera. Harwood hits him with big chops in the corner. More back and forth action. Ospreay hits a jawbreaker. He ends up on the apron and tries to hits a suplex there. Harwood blocks it. Ospreay slips out of a suplex and trips Harwood on the apron. He hits a shotgun dropkick to send Harwood into the steel steps. We cut to a break.
Harwood hits five German suplexes back to back as we return from the break. Harwood goes to the top but Ospreay moves away. Harwood hits another German suplex to set him up. Harwood misses a splash. Ospreay hits a senton to get a two-count. Ospreay goes to the top again and Harwood hits chops on him from the mat. He goes for a suplex but Ospreay counters it with a crossbody. Harwood counters with a pin attempt. Harwood counters once again and goes for a rana pin. Ospreay somehow kicks out of it.
Ospreay hits Pescado on the floor. He hits an elbow to the back of the head by jumping from the top to get a two-count. Ospreay counters a slingshot powerbomb and nails a roundhouse kick. Harwood counters Oscutter and hits slingshot powerbomb to get a near fall. They trade headbutts while on their knees. They trade more shots as they get on their feet. Ospreay hits a hook kick. He hits a liger bomb to get a near fall. Ospreay hits a Oscutter for another near fall. Ospreay hits the hidden blade to get the pin.
Winner – Will Ospreay
After the match, United Empire attack attacks and are followed byt Cash Wheeler, Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero for a big brawl. Orange Cassidy makes his comeback and faces off with Ospreay in the ring. Cassidy’s teammates come and stand behind him. Ospreay slips to the floor to stand with United Empire. We cut to a break.
Moxley & Tanahashi Face-Off
Moxley says he has been chasing Tanahashi for a long long time and he is finally here. Mox adds that all his work in NJPW was to chase Tanahashi. It is because he is the ace of NJPW. Mox says Tanahashi is an inspiration and deserves respect. But he will not be the ace for long as he is the best professional wrestler. Mox says all he has work for three years will be on the line. And for Tanahashi, all he has worked for in his career will be on the line.
Chris Jericho’s music interrupts them. Jericho comes out and tells Moxley that it was his spot in interim AEW title match, but he was not there last week. He takes shots at Tanahashi over his win at Wrestle Kingdom 14. Tanahashi tells him to shut up. Jericho does not shup though. He brings out JAS to attack Mox and Tanahashi. Lance Archer and El Desperado attack them from behind. Jericho gets into the ring as his stooges have taken Tanahashi and Mox down. He announces a tag team match at Forbidden door – Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki vs Shota Imuno, Eddie Kingston & Wheeler Yuta. Mox and Tanahashi clear the ring and stand tall to end the segment.
Miro vs Ethan Page – All Atlantic Championship Qualifier
Page avoids a swing and attacks Miro’s knee. Page hits kicks on knees and hand. Page continues to work on the arm until Miro strikes back with a lariat. Miro kicks at him and then hits blows on Page’s arm. Miro throws Page to the floor to take us to the break.
Miro copies Sheamus as he hits big blows on chest on the apron. Page drops him on the ropes. Page throws him into the steel steps to further injure his hand. He hits a crossbody to get a one-count. Page hits a slingshot cutter to get a two-count. Miro hypes up as Page talk trash about God I guess. Miro hits belly-to-belly suplexes and follows with a big kick. He gets ready for Machka kick but Dan Lambert gets to the apron. Miro drops him with a punch and then hits a Machka kick on Page. He puts on sleeper hold to get the submission.
Winner – Miro
Britt Baker vs Toni Storm
They both start with shots at each other. Storm forces Baker to the floor. Baker nails a big punch on the floor and then sends Storm into the ringpost. Baker throws her into the ring and Storm trips her on the apron. Storm hits a crossbody on Baker from the top to get a two-count. Jamie Hayter pulls Storm out while Rebel distracts the referee. Thunder Rosa runs out and attacks Hayter. We cut to a break.
Toni hits two back to back DDTs as we return. Storm hits a German suplex and a hip attack in the corner. Storm hits a big forearm and Baker is down. Baker was playing possum and gets an inside cradle to get a two-count. Baker hits a swinging neckbreaker. Baker goes for the lockjaw but Storm counters and hits Storm Zero to get the pin.

Jurassic Express(Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus)(c) vs The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) – Ladder Match for AEW Tag Team Championship
The Bucks corner Luchasaurus for a few seconds before he hits them with double shoulder tackle. Luchasaurus goes to pick up a ladder and the Bucks hit him with dropkicks on him against the ladder. JB hits a suicide dive on Matt. He hits Nick with a hurricanrana from the top of ladder. Some tussle on the ladder as all four men keep pulling each other down. Luchasaurus kicks the ladder away from Bucks. JB hits an assisted tornado DDT on Matt and hurricanrana on Nick.
Bucks brings down JB from the ladder and hits low kicks on Luchasaurus to drop him. JB jumps back from the ladder to send Nick to the floor. Matt hits locomotive Nothern Light suplexes to send JB into the ladder in the corner. Nick hits a dive on Luchasaurus on the floor. Luchasaurus saves JB from a suplex through the table. JB sends Matt through the table with an assisted hurricanrana. Nick sends JB through the table with a powerbomb. Nick also sends Luchasaurus to the floor on the table and hits a splash to send Luchasaurus through it.
JB fights back with quick attack. Bucks hit him with superkick. Luchasaurus drops both opponents, sends them to the floor, and hits a moonsault on the floor. He brings in a ladder to the ring. Matt jumps on his back. Luchasaurus still tries to climb. JB hits Matt with a ladder. JB sets up a second ladder beside it. All four men climb to the top now and brawl. Matt drops JB. Luchasaurus drops both the Bucks. Bucks pull Luchasaurus down on a ladder. Nick hits JB with a poisonrana.
Matt hits an elbow drop on Luchasaurus to send him through a table. Jungle Boy hits a German suplex to bring down Nick from the middle of the ladder. Matt tries to climb again and JB hits him with a German suplex also. Both the Bucks climb the ladders now. JB tries to fight with them. Bucks go for the BTE Trigger on top of the ladder. Bucks drop on the ropes and ricochet on the other ladder to knock off JB. Luchasaurus climbs to the top now and The Bucks push the ladder to send him through a set of four tables. Bucks hit BTE Trigger on JB. They climb the ladder to retrieve the titles.
Winner – The Young Bucks(new AEW Tag Team Champions)
The Young Bucks celebrate the title win. Christian Cage runs out and checks on Luchasaurus. Jungle Boy is helped by a referee. Christian gets into the ring and tries to help JB. However, Christian suddenly turns and drops JB with a kill switch. He hits con-chair-to and stands tall to close the show.

Wardlow vs 20 Security Guards: Wardlow was about to go after the TNT champion Scorpio Sky but Mark Sterling told him that he would file a Class Action lawsuit against him for beating the security guards. So, if he wants to avoid the lawsuit, he must defeat 20 security guards in a handicap match.
Miro vs Ethan Page: Miro will collide against Ethan Page in the first-round qualifier for the newly revealed AEW All Atlantic Championship.
Chris Jericho vs Ortiz: Initially, Chris Jericho refused to face Eddie Kingston’s team in a Blood & Guts match. After Ortiz cut down a shred of Jericho’s hair, Jericho told them that he would compete in the Blood & Guts match only if Ortiz will face him in a Hair vs Hair match. Who will go bald? Ortiz or Jericho?
Will Ospreay Dynamite Debut Match: Will Ospreay will take on Dax Harwood as United Empire vs FTR rivalry continues. Will second time the charm for Ospreay to get his first win in AEW?
Storm vs Baker 2: Britt Baker defeated Toni Storm in the semifinal match of Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Both sides had stern remarks for each on Rampage last week. Who will emerge victorious in their second clash.
Tanahashi & Moxley Face to Face: NJPW Ace Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jon Moxley will collide at Forbidden Door PPV. They will come face to face just 10 days before their interim title clash.
