Chris Jericho to make Big Announcement on AEW Dynamite episode of 20 November 2019

AEW has loaded another Dynamite episode with some important matches and promos. Chris Jericho is teasing a big announcement for the show. What is it? No Idea. A 12 men battle royal is announced for something called the Dynamite ring. Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will face-off to start their feud while Rey Fenix and Nick Jackson will participate in their first singles match in AEW. Also, the Inner Circle’s Santana and Ortiz will take on the Private Party. And more!!

Nick Jackson vs Rey Fenix

After the pyro and welcome from the commentary team, Nick Jackson makes his way to the ring. Fenix follows him and they start the match. Nick drops Fenix with a shoulder tackle. Fenix replies with a dropkick. Back and forth action continue until they both go for dropkicks. Nick misses a suicide dive on the floor. Fenix hits a senton on the floor.

Jackson with quick strikes and a running knee to get a two-count. Jackson hits a hurricanrana from the top for a near fall. They trade superkicks after more back and forth. Jackson hits a Canadian destroyer for a near fall. He puts on the Sharpshooter. Fenix rolls out of it and hits some quick moves. He finishes off the match with a package slam to get three counts.

Winner- Rey Fenix

Britt Baker vs Hikaru Shida

Armdrags from both women to start the match. Baker ducks a PK and looks for the lockjaw. Shida rolls out of there quickly as we cut to commercials. Baker is bleeding as we return. She brings down Shida by her arm on the ropes. Baker hits a DDT for a two-count. Back and forth action between them. Baker hits a swinging neckbreaker for a near fall. Shida nails a suplex and a running knee to get the pin.

Winner- Hikaru Shida

Dark Order is now putting out ads for others to join them, or they will “find you!”

Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale for AEW Diamond Ring

The 12 Entrants are- Adam Page, Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, Kip Sabian (with Penelope Ford), Jimmy Havoc, Jungleboy, Marko Stunt, Pentagon Jr., Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela, MJF, and Billy Gunn.

All the entrants are in the ring. Christopher Daniels comes out dressed as Rey Fenix. Penta gets distracted by him and gets eliminated immediately. MJF throws Sonny out of the ring. Billy Gunn throws out Marko Stunt. Havoc staples everyone with his staple gun. He gets disqualified for using weapon.

Joey Janela goes to the top where Shawn Spears attacks him with a chair and throws him over the ropes. Spears is not in the match, but this is part of their ongoing rivalry. Cassidy hits Gunn with his lazy kicks before he gets eliminated by MJF. He backs up into Gunn. Gunn hits him with big chops. He goes to eliminate MJF but he hangs onto the ropes. Wardlow runs a distraction and MJF rakes Gunn’s eyes. Page hits a buckshot lariat on Gunn to eliminate him.

Taylor is sent to the apron by Sabian. Penelope Ford holds his foot and Sabian kicks him and drops him to eliminate him. Sabian turns around to a hurricanrana from Jungle Boy which eliminates him. MJF was hiding under the ring for a while now. He throws Jungleboy off the the apron to eliminate him. Page and MJF are the last two surviving.

Final Two- MJF and Adam Page will advance to next week’s match for the AEW Diamond Ring.

Chris Jericho Makes Big Announcement

Jericho wants to apologize for his recent actions but he is not able to get sorry out of his mouth. Hager says sorry for him. Jericho announced a Thank You Celebration next week in Chicago. SoCal Uncensored comes out to the ring. Scorpio Sky mocks him for not being able to say sorry. He then asks why Jericho threw a tantrum last week after losing to them in the tag team match.

Sky says how he is first one to pin Jericho in AEW. Sky agitates Jericho into challenging him for a match next week. Kazarian and Daniels then taunt Jericho a bit more and Jericho ends up putting the title on the line. The Inner Circle attacks SCU. Hager helps out Jericho to hit Sky with the Judas Effect. Jurrasic Express comes out to make the save. Luchasaurus and Jake Hager face off in the ring before the segment ends.

Peter Avalon vs Luchasaurus

Luchasaurus drops Avalon with roundhouse kick right away. He hits a facebuster for the win. The Jurrasic Express pose in the ring after the win.

Winner- Luchasaurus

Private Party vs Proud and Powerful

Santana controls Cassidy to start the match. Quen tags in for some back and forth action. Santana bridges a pin after a German suplex on Quen. Cassidy break the pin. Ortiz tags in and hits a delayed vertical suplex. More quick tags between Proud n’ Powerful. Quen tries to fight back but gets dropped with back rake. Quen fight off a bear hug and tags out to Cassidy. Cassidy runs rampant on opponents. He hits code red on Ortiz but Santana pulls out the referee to stop the pin.

Some confusion as the referee is not sure who is the legal man – Santana or Ortiz. Quen seems to be injured in the action. Santana and Ortiz with a bunch of double team move on Cassidy. Santana brings out a loaded sock, but Nick Jackson comes down and takes it away. Cassidy drops both Santana and Ortiz before Quen returns to hit their hurricanrana and cutter combo finisher for the win.

Winner- Private Party

Kenny Omega is in the gym and says people feel like he has lost it. He feels it is due to losing to PAC. He will get his revenge next week against PAC.

Darby Allin vs Jon Moxley

Allin attacks Moxley during his entrance. They brawl into the crowd. Allin jumps off the barricade onto Moxley. Moxley then throws him back to ringside and slams him into ring post. Moxley throws him into the ring to start the match. Moxley cuts his dive off with a shoulder block midair. Moxley swats away Allin as he goes for a crossbody on the floor. Allin throws Moxley into the steel steps.

Allin jams Moxley’s fingers against the turnbuckle and steps on them. Mox hits him with German suplex. Moxley drops Allin with a clothesline and puts him in the bodybag and kicks at him. The referee stops Mox and brings Allin out. Mox eats a stunner before hitting a sidewalk slam. Allin sends him into the ring post. Allin goes for the Coffin Drop and Moxley catches him in a sleeper. Allin fights free but Moxley hits him with Paradigm Shift for the pin.

Winner- Jon Moxley
