Welcome to ITNWWE’s live results coverage for AEW Dynamite November 29, 2023 episode which will be live from Minneapolis, MN.

Bryan Danielson was on the commentary during the show which featured 3 matches from Continental Classics tournament from Gold League. Jay White and Swerve Strickland were in the main event match. Jay Lethal vs Jon Moxley match opened the show. Mark Briscoe vs Rush also took place.

Christian Cage and Adam Copeland met in the ring as Christian responded to Copeland’s challenge for TNT Championship. The build-up for World’s End PPV continued with AEW World Championship MJF appearing and setting up a match for next week with Samoa Joe. RESULTS

Jay Lethal vs Jon Moxley – Continental Classic Gold League Match

They start with some shots. Lethal puts on a figure four. Moxley quickly catches the ropes and they both end up rolling and dropping to the floor with the lock still on. Lethal hits a dive off the apron. Moxley returns the favor with a suicide dive but his knee is troubling him. Back to the ring, Lethal hits a kneebreaker and a dragon screw leg. Moxley hits back with punches before countering Lethal Injection with a sleeper choke. Lethal concentrates his attack on knee again before an elbow drop from the top rope. Lethal tackles Moxley off the apron. We cut to a break.

Lethal is working on the knee as we return. Mox kicks him away and hits a cutter. Lethal puts him on the rope and hits a dragon screw again. Mox baits him into a big strike. They trade forearms before Mox hits a King Kong Lariat. Lariat blocks Deathrider and hits a Lethal Combination. He slams Mox’s knee multiple times into the mat. Mox sends him into the turnbuckle and rolls him up for a two-count. Lethal gets him in an O’Connor roll. Mox turns it into a sleeper choke briefly.

Lethal puts on a figure four. Mox struggles for a minute before he catches the ropes. Lethal hits a kick to the knee but Mox plays possum before hitting Paradigm shift. He hits a king kong lariat and a piledriver. Lethal kicks out. Moxley quickly puts on a rear naked choke to get a tap out.

We see a promo from Eddie Kingston after his loss in the tournament at Collision last week. He is sad at the loss, but wants to get ready for Bryan Danielson. Bryan complements him when we cut back to the commentary, but then goes on to say that Eddie is losing confidence after just one loss. He passionately screams that he is coming to win the tournament.


Tony Schiavone is backstage and announces AEW Revolution for March 3, 2024, which will take place at Greensboro Collesium in Greensboro, NC. The venue had an iconic match between Ric Flair and Sting who joins Tony for an interview. They discuss the match and how Flair put Sting on the map with that match.

Mark Briscoe vs Rush – Continental Classic Gold League Match

They start with rapid-fire chops immediately as Rush enters the ring. Briscoe corners Rush for a while to get his shots going. Rush turns it around quickly and adds kicks to his offense. Briscoe kicks Rush out of the ring and hits a dive on him. They trade chops before Rush throws Briscoe into the barricade multiple times. They continue to fight on the floor after Rush resets the referee’s count. Briscoe hits a big clothesline as they return to the ring. We cut to a break.

Rush has Briscoe grounded when we return. They trade more chops after this. They hit headbutts to each other. Briscoe hits a suplex. Rush also hits a belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckle. Briscoe cuts off his bull’s horn with a spear. Briscoe hits a neckbreaker to get a two-count. Rush blocks Jay Driller and hits back elbows. Briscoe hits an enzuigiri.

Rush goes to the apron where they trade more chops. Rush then throws Briscoe off the apron with a kick to his knees. Briscoe returns to the ring and punches Rush off the top rope. Briscoe hits froggie bow, but Rush kicks out of the pin. Rush blocks Jay Driller. He sends Briscoe into the turnbuckle with a belly-to-belly throw. Rush hits bull’s horn dropkick to get the pinfall.

AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm is interviewed by RJ City in her room. Her butler and Mariah May are also there. She tells us how she has partied late into the night and is dehydrated. City tells her about her match next week.

AEW World Champion MJF

AEW World Champion MJF comes out to the ring. He talks about Samoa Joe not being a good person but professionally he respects him because of what he did in the ring and he did not come to AEW to just line-up his pocket. MJF talks about Samoa Joe’s matches in TNA and praised his several athletic feats. He then takes shots at how he was not allowed to hold World title in WWE.

But, Joe has proved that one does not need to be a body builder to be a great pro wrestler. He thanks Samoa Joe for all his work in pro wrestling. MJF then turns his attention to his own works and fires up about his own work so far. He talks about his own passion and how he has been become the longest-reigning AEW World Champion. He vows to fight until he can and claims that he will retain the World Championship at World’s End.

The lights go off and 4 masked men hit the ring to attack MJF. Samoa Joe comes out to pull one of them to the floor and drops him. He gets into the ring and clear the ring with MJF. The lights go off and Devil’s message comes on the screen. He asks if MJF and Samoa Joe are ready to compete with unknown in a tag team match next week. Joe asks MJF not to get agitated. MJF anyway goes on to accept the challenge.

Wardlow vs AR Fox

Fox catches Wardlow with a kick on the apron. He hits a suicide dive next on the floor. Another dive from Fox on the floor. Wardlow catches a senton and drops Fox on the apron. Wardlow pulls him into the ring and the bell finally rings. Wardlow throws Fox across the ring. Wardlow continues to manhandle him for a while. Fox tries to create momentum again with quick moves but Wardlow drops him. He hits a couple of powerbombs and a Swanton bomb. Wardlow hits more powerbombs, but does not go for a pin during this offense at all. The referee intervenes and stops the match.

Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy & Brother Zay vs Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Action Andretti

Action Andretti starts against Matt. Jeff double teams with Matt to take the early control. Brother Zay and Darius tag in. Zay hits a shoulder takcle and Darius tags in Dante. More quick tags between their team as they keep Zay under control. Andretti hits a stomp onto Zay’s arm. Matt takes a shot on Andretti from the outside to allows his team to take control. Jeff slams Andretti on the mat. We cut to a break.

Matt has Andretti under control. He hits a huge slap and Delete shots in the corner. Matt hits a Side Effect to get a two-count. Andretti blocks Twist of Fate and hits several quick strikes. A springboard kick allows him to tag in Dante. Dante slams Matt to the mat. Zay comes in to take down Dante. Jeff comes in to help Darius and knocks Zay off.

On the floor, Jeff gets down on four as a platform for a jump, but Zay jumps off him to attack Andretti. Zay hits a springboard dropkick on Dante as The Hardys hold him up. Andretti and Darius attack The Hardys on the floor. Dante drops Zay to get the pinfall.

After the break, Penta El Zero Meido meets the winning team backstage and challenges them for a trios match with El Hijo Del Vikingo and Komander in his team.

Julia Hart(c) vs Emi Sakura – House Rules Match for AEW TBS Women’s Championship

Emi Sakura has chosen the stipulation that this match can’t be won via submission. She plays to the crowd before ducking the lock up. Julia grabs her face and sends her into the corner to hit a corner splash and a handspring tackle. Emi hits back with chops. Julia catches her arm and slams it to the mat. They get to the floor and Emi whips her into the steel steps. She hits a crossbody against the steel to take us to a break.

Sakura hits a double underhook piledriver after holding Julia upside down for a while. Julia quickly turns it around with a read naked choke submission. Sakura is tapping but the match does not allow submission. Sakura breaks free and goes to the top. Julia pulls her down and puts on Heartless. Sakura is tapping out again. The referee separate them and tells Julia about the stipulation. Julia hits a moonsault press to get the pinfall.

Mariah May is interviewed by RJ City backstage who is dying to show off what she can do. She flirts with RJ who has connected her to Tony Khan.

Christian & Copeland

Christian Cage comes out to the ring. Several security members are inside the ring to protect him. He calls out Adam Copeland as he wants to talk to him. Copeland makes him wait but he eventually heads out. Christian says the security is from management and not him. He asks them to leave the ring as he doesn’t think they need them. Christian responds to Copeland’s challenge from last week and says they are not going to make it to Montreal because he is sorry.

Christian brings up Copeland taking out Killswitch last week and how he became so angry that he got out of his home and started driving, which was turned into reflection and soul searching. He thought about their friendship and how they had two of the best careers in pro wrestling. Christian then points out that Copeland didn’t have a father and how his own father became a father figure for him. Christian says he loves Copeland, and they’re family. Christian then brings up how his mother told them to team up one more time before she passed away. Christian says they should do that for her.

Christian then attempts to hit Copeland with the TNT title, but Copeland is alert to hit a low blow. Copeland tells Cage to sleep with the title and shine it up, because next week it will go home with him. Before going, Copeland tells Cage to go f*** himself.

Jay White vs Swerve Strickland – Continental Classic Gold League Match

White takes Swerve to the floor to start the match. Swerve counters to send him into the barricade then stomps his face to the floor. White also throws him into the barricade before targetting the injured shoulder. Back to the ring, White hits some chops in the corner. Swerve fires back with some chops. They get to the floor again. Swerve sends White over the barricade and into the crowd. We cut to a break.

Swerve stomps on White’s back. White catches him on the way back to the ring and hits a DDT. Swerve hits a backbreaker as they get to the floor once again, and follows up with a big boot. White drops Swerve on the apron and then on the stairs. Back to the ring, Swerve gets angry when he pulls him by his hair and slaps him. White throws him into the turnbuckles. Quick counters from both men before Swerve hits a flatliner and a suplex, but he does not have the energy to cover. White hits back with a German suplex only to draw a discus lariat from Swerve in response.

They trade forearms. Swerve comes out of the top but White hits him with a chopblock. He hits an Urinagi to get a two-count. Swerve goes for a submission. He transitions to hit a kill shot on the arm. White pushes him into the referee and tries to hit a low blow. Swerve blocks it and hits a running kick. Swerve connects the Swerve Stomp, but White kicks out of the pin. White then hits Bladerunner, but Swerve rolls out of the ring to avoid a pin. White brings him back in and Swerve counters Bladerunner with a pinfall attempt to get the three count.

The show goes off the air as White is shocked at the result.
