AEW Dynamite episode of June 12, 2024 will continue the build-up for Forbidden Door 2024 PPV. The show will feature Will Ospreay vs Rey Fenix International title match while . Mercedes Mone will take on Zeuxis over TBS title.

Rush will be in action while a trios match is also set with Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly and Mark Briscoe facing Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita and Roderick Strong. RESULTS & UPDATES

AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland cut a promo in the ring saying that Will Ospreay need to get his killer instincts back in order to beat him at Forbidden Door. Swerve then took a shot at The Elite, which brought them out on the stage. The Elite offered him to join the faction by giving him a pair of shoes. Swerve let Prince Nana throw them into the crowd. A brawl was about to break out, but interim EVP Christopher Daniels appeared to keep the two sides separated.

Jack Perry defeated Dustin Rhodes in the qualifier for TNT Championship Ladder match.

Renee Paquette interviewed Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly backstage ahead of their trios match later tonight. Briscoe was at his fired up best as he talked mostly. Cassidy did not say anything as his streak of sadness continued.

Rush defeated Deonn Rusman in a singles match.

Rush was about to hit Rusman with the Bull’s Horn but MJF came out and started a brawl with him which spilled into the crown, then into concourse area and then to backstage. They were required to be separated by several wrestlers and security personnel.

We see the footage of Samoa Joe and Hook attack Premier Athletes in their locker room last week on Collision.

Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita & Roderick Strong defeated Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Kyle O’Reilly in a tag team match.

We got a video package for Shingo Takagi who was announced for Owen Hart Foundation tournament.

Interim EVP Christopher Daniels was backstage where he announced that all of The Elite members will compete in eliminator matches next week, and if their opponents would win, they would get title shots against them. Everyone would be banned from ringside for these matches.

Samoa Joe & Hook defeated Premier Athletes(Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari) in a tag team match. Katsuyori Shibata choked out Mark Sterling on the floor when he was trying to interrupt.

Mercedes Mone defeated Zeuxis in a singles match to retain AEW TBS Women’s Championship.

A video package aired for Mina Shirakawa which also featured Mariah May. After the video, we cut to Toni Storm in an interview with May alongside her. May informed her that Mina would return to Dynamite next week for a contract signing segment. May said Toni need not worry about anything as she would host the segment.

Chris Jericho came out for TV Time segment with the Learning Tree segment. Bryan Keith and Big Bill were also there. The guests tonight were Private Party. Jericho told Private Party how much they lack in technique and they even do not know how to climb the ropes despite being high flyers. Private Party agreed to Jericho’s assesment and asked him to demonstrate how to do it. Jericho climbed to the top turnbuckle. Private Party tripped Jericho on the top turnbuckle and cleared all the of the Learning Tree stable from the ring.

Backstage, Bang Bang Gang mocked and called out House of Black for a match on Collision.

Daniel Garcia defeated Nick Comoroto in a singles match.

Will Ospreay talked to Renee Paquette backstage where he said he had a contract to turn in amid all these title defenses and upcoming World title match.

PAC announced that he would enter in Owen Hart Cup.

Will Ospreay defeated Rey Fenix in a singles match to retain AEW International Championship.

Swerve Strickland came out to the ring after the match. Swerve ignored Ospreay’s handshake and told him that he was not strong enough to hold both International and World title. Ospreay took the World title and to hold both the title on different shoulders. Swerve then whispered something to his ears before they stared down to close the show.
