AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen July 27, Preview & Card
AEW is set to present the Fight for the Fallen 2022 edition of Dynamite on July 27, 2022. The event will feature two world title matches along with the in-ring return of Bryan Danielson.
Jon Moxley will defend his Interim AEW World Championship against RUSH. Meanwhile, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa will defend her title against Miyu Yamashita. Bryan Danielson’s in-ring return against JAS’s Daniel Garcia and Swerve Strickland’s handicapped match are the other announced bouts. Jon Moxley vs RUSH – Interim AEW World Championship
La Faccion Ingobernables’ RUSH will challenge Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley for his Interim AEW World title. RUSH is on a 10-fight winning streak in different promotions including AEW, ROH, and others in Mexico. Will he be able to continue his momentum and take the interim world title from Moxley or will the latter reign supreme again?
Thunder Rosa vs Miyu Yamashita – AEW Women’s World Championship
Miyu Yamashita defeated Rosa at TJPW Summer Sun Princess’22 and earned a title shot for herself. Now, she will collide against Thunder Rosa in an AEW Women’s world championship match at Fight for the Fallen. Will Yamashita be able to dethrone Rosa?
Ricky Starks vs Danhausen – FTW Championship
Last week on Dynamite, Ricky Starks hosted an open challenge for the FTW title after defeating Cole Karter. The challenge was answered by Danhausen, and now these two will fight for the title at AEW Dynamite Fight for the Fallen. It is expected that this match will later set up a match between Ricky Starks and Hook. Will it be the case?
Bryan Danielson vs Daniel Garcia
After suffering an injury at AEW All Out, Bryan Danielson is set to return inside the squared circle. He wants to take revenge on JAS, and he will start by facing JAS Daniel Garcia in a singles match. The American Dragon wants Garcia to pay for the action he missed due to JAS. So, will Danielson be able to take his vengeance?
Swerve Strickland vs Tony Nese & Mark Sterling – Handicap Match
One-half of AEW tag-team champions, Swerve Strickland will face Tony Nese and Mark Sterling in a handicap match. The rivalry between them started when Sterling and Nese started a campaign to get Swerve removed from AEW Roster. Things escalated last week when Sterling and Nese came out to interrupt Swerve in our Glory’s championship celebration last week. Swerve will have to deal with Keith Lee will be banned from ringside during this match.
Dante Martin vs Sammy Guevara
Sammy Guevara will return to action for the first time since Blood and Guts match. He will be facing Dante Martin in a singles match. Martin is yet to win a match at Dynamite or Rampage since May when he defeated Max Caster in a singles match. Will he be able to turn his form around?
Jungle Boy to Speak
Jungle Boy returned to Dynamite for the first time since Christian Cage’s betrayal at Road Rager. Luchasaurus, who seemingly aligned with Christian during JB’s absence, gave way to JB when he returned last week. Jungle Boy will be speaking to fans this week on Dynamite.
