Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Double or Nothing 2022 PPV on May 29, 2022 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

AEW returns with its second PPV of this year with 13 matches announced. “Hangman” Adam Page is defending AEW World Championship against CM Punk in the main event. The women’s title match will have Thunder Rosa defending the belt against Serena Deeb. TBS Women’s Champion Jade Cargill will face Anna Jay while a 3-way match is announced for AEW Tag Team Championship with Jurrasic Express defending the title against Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs and Keith Lee & Shane Strickland.

The first Anarchy in the Arena match will see Jericho Appreciation Society facing Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz. A mixed trios match is scheduled with Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page & Paige Vanzant facing Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian & Tay Conti. Death Triangle and House of Black will look to end their rivalry with another trios match.

The finals of the men and women Owen Hart Foundation Tournament are also on the card. Adam Cole faces Samoa Joe in the men’s final while Dr. Britt Baker DMD will clash against Ruby Soho in the women’s final. A dream match is also scheduled with The Young Bucks facing The Hardys. Kyle O’Reilly, another member of the Undisputed Elites, will face Darby Allin. Wardlow will look for revenge against MJF. At the Buy-In pre-show, Hook and Danhausen are teaming up against Tony Nese and Mark Sterling.

Live Updates


The pre-show is live now with the Countdown to Double or Nothing episode that aired on Friday evening on TNT, previewing all the matches on tonight’s card.

It is reported that MJF vs Wardlow match will open the main show at 8 PM. It is also speculated that MJF is not in the building until a couple of hours ago. So many things flying that it is hard to believe any particular thing. Hardys vs Young Bucks is going to be the second match on the main card.

We are live from the arena now with Excalibur and Tony Schiavone. We get a video package for House of Black. The Acclaimed and The Gunn Club are out on the ramp with Caster rapping once again. After this, Eddie Kingston is cutting a promo. He blames Chris Jericho for wrecking him emotionally and he has started drinking again.

Hook & Danhausen vs Tony Nese & Mark Sterling

Sterling is in Yellow and silver ring gear for his first match in AEW. Hook is as miffed with everything as always. He starts against Nese. Nese tries to show off and Hook quickly takes him down with double leg. Nese slips out to the floor to avoid any further damage. Nese comes in and Hook tags in Danhausen. Nese mocks him and hits him with a shoulder tackle. Danhausen avoids an elbow drop and a corner splash. Danhausen tries to curse Nese, but it does not work. He hits a big boot when Nese charges to the corner.

Sterling runs a distraction and Nese runs him over with a clothesline. Sterling tags in and stomps on Danhausen for a while. Nese comes back in and kicks away Danhausen. Sterling hits a suplex. He goes for a leg drop but Danhausen moves away. Sterling quickly tags out to Nese who knocks off Hook from the apron. Danhausen hits a northern light suplex on Nese and finally tags in Hook again.

Hook hits a corner clothesline and a Northern Light suplex on Nese. He pulls in Sterling and drops him with another suplex. Nese is hit with another suplex as he tries to run in. Hook hits another Northern Light suplex on Sterling and tags in Danhausen. Danhausen stands on top of Sterling to get the pin.

Winner – Hook & Danhausen

Jim Ross enters to join the commentary and start the main show.

MJF vs Wardlow

MJF’s music kicks off the main card. He takes his sweet time to come out. Heavy boos for him as he walks out to the ring. He mocks the crowd by signalling a flight. We cut back to Wardlow backstage who is still in handcuffs in a holding cell. He is escorted with security. No music for him again as he comes out. MJF gets out of the ring to stall things and asks the referee ot back Wardlow up.

The bell rings and MJF goes out of the ring again. He returns after asking for Wardlow to back up. Wardlow turns his back and MJF hits a blow to his back. Wardlow is unfazed by it. He goes for a powerbomb but MJF slips out of the ring. Wardlow tries to pull him in. MJF goes for a sunset flip and is unable to take Wardlow down. Wardlow goes for the powerbomb but MJF bites him. MJF hits punches before putting on a side headlock. Wardlow hits him with a tackle and MJF goes to fake an injury to stall again.

MJF pulls out his Dynamite Diamond ring, but Wardlow and the referee are standing on top of him. The referee takes the ring away. MJF gets desperate and offers Wardlow double money to stop this match. Wardlow thinks about it but the match continues. Wardlow hits a powerbomb on MJF. The crowd is behind him completely. Wardlow starts the powerbomb symphony. He hits three more powerbombs before two more in quick succession. Wardlow stand on top of MJF for the pin but stops in between. He hits another powerbomb and another one. Wardlow hits three more powerbombs and stand on top on Wardlow to get the pin.

Winner – Wardlow

MJF is pulled out of the ring immediately after the match and is put on a stretcher. Wardlow takes in the adulation from the crowd. We see the replay of 10 powerbombs that Wardlow has hit. Wardlow is on the stage with Tony Schiavone now. Tony announces that Wardlow is All Elite now. Wardlow gets emotional. More chants for him after the announcement.

The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs The Hardys(Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

Both Matts start the match with Elite vs Delete signs. Matt Jackson hits a dropkick to drop Hardy. They sweep each others’ legs. Matt Hardy mocks Jackson before Jackson runs him over. Jeff tags in and Matt hits him with a shoulder tackle. Jeff hits a back elbow and hits a tackle. Matt Jackson slips out of the ring. He comes back but is clotheslined to the floor. Nick gets in and gets double teamed. Matt Hardy tags in again. Nick slaps on Matt Hardy’s face. Matt Jackson comes in but Hardy drops him with a clothesline. The Hardy’s double team briefly. Nick hits a gamengiri on Jeff after Matt Jackson gets out of the corner. The Bucks double team to drop Matt Hardy. Jeff is thrown back into the ring now.

The Bucks cut off the ring and keep Jeff isolated with quick tags. Jeff hits them with a double clothesline. Jeff tries to tag out but Brandon Cutler pulls Matt Hardy from the apron. Nick hits a kick before missing Whisper in the Wind. Jeff hits Whisper in the Wind on him. Matt Hardy tags in and drops Nick with forearms a couple of times. He slams Matt Jackson’s face into the turnbuckle. Matt Hardy does the same to Cutler also. Matt hits a side effect on Nick. Nick avoids the Whisper in the Wind. The Bucks turn it around and drop both the Hardys.

The Bucks keep Matt Hardy down. Nick slams him to the mat. A double splash from the Bucks on Matt Hardy. Matt avoids a running knee from Matt Jackson and it hits Nick. The same happens on the apron and this time Cutler takes the burnt. Jeff hits a senton on Matt Jackson. Poetry in Motion from Jeff rocks Nick. Nick counters with a catapult on Matt Hardy to send him into Jeff. Matt Jackson springboard on Matt Hardy as Nick held him. Jeff bulldogs Matt into the turnbuckle. The Bucks hit Twist of Fate and Swanton bob on Jeff for a near fall. They hits BTE trigger and superkicks on Jeff. Matt Hardy also eats a double superkick.

Nick by setting up the steel steps on the floor. Nick slams Jeff’s face into it. Jeff fights back and drops Nick on the steel steps. Matt hits Razor’s edge on Matt. Jeff hits a Swanton bomb on Matt on the steel steps. Matt Hardy hits a side effect on Nick and then follows with Twist of Fate. Jeff hits Swanton bomb on Nick and gets the pin.

Winner – The Hardys

Jeff Hardy gets into the crowd to celebrate his win.

We cut to a video where The Acclaimed and The Gunn club have partied too hard and down and out.

Jade Cargill(c) vs Anna Jay – AEW TBS Women’s Championship Match

Cargill pushes Jay to the corner. Jay hits a big boot to the face after Cargill whips her from corner to corner. Jay counters a move and drops her near the ropes. Jade takes over control and hits a double sledge. Cargill hits uppercuts in the corner before a running elbow. Cargill goes to the top and Jay hits her with a superplex.

Jay hits a leg lariat after avoiding Cargill in the corner. She hits a heel kick after missing the Bitter end. Jay hits a flipping blockbuster from the top. Cargill slips out of the ring. Jay follows her and sends her into the steel steps. The Baddies attack Jay and Jay hits them with a double DDT. Cargill hits her with a pump kick as Jay returns to the ring. Jay hits back with a superkick. Sterling gets down to the ringside and slips in a crutch for Cargill. Jay takes advantage of the crutch instead and slams Cargill’s face into the mat using the crutch. She covers but Cargill kicks out.

John Silver comes out and attacks Sterling. Cargill hits the Eye of the Storm. Jay slips out of the Jaded and puts on the Queenslayer. Cargill struggles a bit but manages to slam Anna into the corner to break it. Jay goes to the top now. Cargill joins her there and they tussle for a while. Stokley Hathaway(Malcolm Bivens) come out and Anna Jay gets distracted. Cargill hits Jaded from the top turnbuckle and gets the pin.

Winner – Jade Cargill

After the match, Hathaway comes into the ring and celebrates with the Baddies. The Baddies were about to attack Jay when Kris Statlander runs out to make the save. Athena(Ember Moon) comes out to make it three vs three. The two teams face off before Hathaway takes away the Baddies from the ring.

Death Triangle(PAC, Rey Fenix & Penta Oscuro) vs House of Black(Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Mathews)

Fenix starts against Black. Black puts on arm wringers. Black hits a German suplex but Fenix lands on his feet. Fenix hits Black with headscissors. Fenix avoids a heel kick from Black. They both sit down and face-off after a stalemate. Black sets up Fenix for a dropkick but Mathews catches Black with it. Fenix takes Mathews to his corner. Penta tags in and Mathews knocks off others. Quick back and forth between Mathews and Penta until they also come to stalemate. Pac takes the blind tag and hits a basement dropkick on Mathews.

King tags in and hits big shots on PAC. PAC hits a boot in the corner. King chops him on the top turnbuckle to dump him to the floor. Both team face off in the middle now and start brawling. One big move after another from each participant. PAC ends the sequence with poisonrana. King comes in and hits PAC with Bossman slam. He hits a big chop before Black comes in and hits a knee to the midsection. Black puts on a chinlock. House of Black with quick tags to keep PAC under control. PAC avoids a cannonball and King crashes to the corner.

Fenix tags in. Mathews ends up hitting a powerbomb on Black. Mathews and Black are thrown to the outside and hit with suicide dive. Death Triangle hit triple splash on King, but King kicks out. Fenix hits dropkick on him. Mathews blocks a dive from Fenix and hits him with a suplex. PAC takes him out with a dive. Black and PAC follow the same pattern. King takes out everyone. House of Black drop Fenix one by one and PAC has to break the pin. They look for triple brainbuster but Death Triangle counter with superkicks.

PAC hits a sheer drop brainbuster on Black. Mathews breaks the pin. Penta ends up hitting him with Canadian Destroyer on the apron. Fenix combines with Penta to hit a foot stomp/DDT combo on King. Death Triangle surround Black and hit him with superkicks. Black nails Fenix and Penta with Black Mass. PAC ducks it and hits a thrust kick of his own. He hits a 450-splash on Black. Mathews comes in and is sent back outside into King. PAC avoids a suplex and hits a German suplex.

Alex Abrehantes distracts the referee and PAC hits Black with a low blow. PAC goes to the top but the lights go out. Julia Hart is in the ring as they come out and spits black mist on PAC. Black hits the Black Mass on PAC and gets the pin.

Winner – House of Black

Adam Cole vs Samoa Joe – Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final

They start with arm wringers before coming to a stalemate. Cole tries to use the ropes on Joe’s arm but Joe gets away. Cole invites Joe for a show of strength. Joe nails him with a punch. He rains him down with straight jabs. A big chop and a headbutt follows. Joe hits a back elbow in the corner and follows with an enziguiri. More punches and headbutts. Cole hits back with punches before Joe cuts him off with a back elbow. Joe hits more chops as Cole gets to the floor. Cole hits back with a superkick and then slams Joe to the apron. He goes to slam Joe’s into the ring post.

Cole fires in more elbows as they return to the ring. Joe hits his chops before Cole kicks at his knee. Cole starts to work on the arm once again. Joe counters by dropping Cole on his own knees. Cole hits an enziguiri from the floor. Joe hits him with STO out of the corner. Joe hits punches, atomic drops, a heel kick and a senton to get a two-count. Cole comes out of powerbomb but Joe hits him with a powerslam. Joe is selling a shoulder/arm injury. Cole slips out of powerbomb but Joe runs him over with a lariat.

Cole hits back with a high knee after avoiding muscle buster. Cole hits punches, a kick to the shoulder and a backstabber to get a two-count. Cole puts on crossface now. Joe gets his leg on the rope. Joe counters a superkick and hits a bridging powerbomb for a two-count. Joe puts on STF. Cole drags himself to the ropes. Bobby Fish comes out and drops Joe’s arm on the rope. Joe avoids the Boom from Cole and puts on the Coquina Clutch. Joe has to drop it to deal with Fish. Cole hits back with superkicks before hitting the Boom to get the pin.

Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs Ruby Soho – Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final

They lock up and Baker pushes Soho to the corner. Baker gets a one-count after a snapmare takedown. They lock up again and Baker pushes her to the floor with an arm wringer. Ruby turns it around. Baker hits her with an elbow but Ruby does not let go of her arm. Baker sends Ruby into the corner but Ruby still hangs onto the arm. Baker whips her to the ropes and hits a knee to midsection. Baker hits kicks in the corner. Ruby comes back with armdrag and clotheslines. A knee strike rocks her and they end up on the floor.

A bit of back and forth before Ruby slams Baker’s face into the barricade. Baker trips Ruby on the top turnbuckle and she lands on it ribs first. Ruby is struggling to breathe a bit. Baker continues to work on her. Ruby tries to hit back with chops before Baker takes her down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Baker stretches her body. Ruby works to get out of it. Baker hits a big elbow to drop Ruby back to the mat. Baker hits a superplex and both women are down.

Baker starts to talk trash. Ruby starts to trade big elbow strikes. Baker fires back with one big shot and they are both down again. Baker hits a superkick. Ruby avoids the curbstomp and goes for a pin. Baker hits a thrust kick. Ruby hits a Saito Suplex and senton for a near fall. Baker counters a superplex and Ruby’s face landed on the turnbuckle as she comes down. Baker hits the curbstomp but Ruby kicks out.

Baker brings out her glove. Ruby counters the Lockjaw with a pin attempt. Ruby hits the No-Future kick. She locks in the Sharpshooter. Baker is in the middle on the ring. Ruby puts on the more pressure and drags Baker back to the middle. Baker crawls to grab the bottom rope. Ruby hits a big boot. She uses a sunset flip for a pin attempt but Baker counters it into a pin attempt of her own and gets the pin.

Baker shows a bit of respect for Ruby before she gets to the stage to join Adam Cole. Tony Khan brings out Martha Hart to the stage. Martha thanks the fans for the warm welcome. She reads out a statement amid the chants for Owen Hart, thanking a bunch of people from AEW, Dark Side of the Ring. She hands in the belts to Adam Cole and Britt Baker.

Paige Vanzant, Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page vs Tay Conti, Sammy Guevara & Frankie Kazarian – Mixed Trios Match

Kazarian and Sky start the match but Sammy takes a blind tag. Page comes in and nails Sammy with big punches. A back elbow drops Sammy to the mat. Sammy reverese Ego’ Edge and hits a corkscrew dropkick. Page hits a powerslam. Page brings in Sky and Kazarian comes in from the other side. Back and forth action before Sky hits a dropkick. Kazarian comes back with a bodyslam. Sammy comes in and shows off. This gives Sky the chance to recover and unload. Conti takes a cheap shot from the apron.

Sammy runs over Sky. He hits the double springboard cutter. Kazarian is shouting at Sky to show some urgency as he continues to show off. Tay gets in to hit a double team suplex while the referee is distracted. Kazarian drops Sky with a leg sweep. He puts on a front chancery. Sky fights back with punches and hits a flatliner. Conti goes and takes a cheap shot at Vanzant. Sammy and Conti embrace on the floor after this and Kazarian is once again miffed at them. Kazarian puts on a shoulder stretch and Sammy takes a blind tag. Argument between Kazarian and Sammy gives Sky the chance to slam them into each other.

Sky goes and tags in Vanzant. Conti has to come in from the other side. Vanzant hits some punches and clotheslines. She hits a back suplex and a handspring back elbow. Sammy comes in to stop TKO on Conti. Vanzant hits him with a big punch and a DDT. Vanzant drops Conti on Sammy’s groin. Conti hits a judo throw and then hits pump kicks in the corner. A pump kick in the middle of the ring gets her a near fall. Conti hits a facebuster on the knee. Sammy gets in and goes to make out with Conti.

All three of their opponent are in the ring now. They ask Kazarian to get in but he leaves them high and dry. Sky, Page and Vanzant beat up Sammy and Conti. Kazarian gets involved again. He drops Page off the apron and then hits a cutter on Sky. Conti gets in his face but he ducks a superkick from Sammy, which lands on Conti. Kazarian throws Sammy out of the ring. Page nails Kazarian with a roundhouse kick and Sky hits TKO to get the pin.

Winners – Paige Vanzant, Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page

Darby Allin vs Kyle O’Reilly

Back and forth start. KOR hits a knee to the face. KOR hits several kicks before sweeping Darby to the mat. A suplex follows. Darby is screaming in pain. KOR hits more kicks. Darby hits back with rights and lefts. He hits Code Red for a two-count.

KOR avoids the Coffin splash. Darby hits knee strikes to counter KOR. A stunner sends KOR to the floor. Darby goes for a senton but his leg get stuck on the ropes. He lands on the floor before KOR and his leg pushes KOR into the barricade. Both men are good to continue. Darby hits a suicide dive which is turned into a Guillotine by KOR. The referee tells KOR that he can’t win on the floor.

Back to the ring, Darby gets a couple of pin attempts. KOR hits him with a suplex and then puts on an ankle lock. Darby turns it around into a sharpshooter. KOR gets to the ropes after some struggle. KOR goes for a bit boot but Darby hits him with dragon screw leg on the ropes. Darby hits a Coffin drop on the apron. Darby brings KOR back to the ring and goes for another Coffin drop. KOR catches him in the cross arm breaker.

They trade shots, knees and kicks. KOR uses Darby’s chain to hurt his mouth. He hits three back to back Penalty kicks and a diving knee drop to get the pin.

Thunder Rosa(c) vs Serena Deeb – AEW Women’s Championship Match

They lock up and roll around the ring. Neither women let it go until the come to a stalemate in the corner. Rosa with an arm wringer. Deeb turns it around. Headscissor from Rosa is countered with a side headlock from Deeb. They lock up again. Rosa pushes Deeb’s shoulder to the mat for a few pin attempts. Deeb wraps her legs around the shoulders and they go for more pin attempts. Rosa puts on the Pendulum submission move. Rosa gets another two-count.

Deeb hits a shoulder tackle. Rosa hits a couple of armdrags. Deeb blocks a backslide. Rosa hits a dropdown uppercut. A dropkick sends Deeb to the floor. Deeb counters and sends Rosa into the turnbuckle. A neckbreaker on the ropes from Deeb follows.

Deeb hits a neckbreaker, and European uppercut. Deeb puts pressure on the shoulder using the ropes. Deeb puts on the abdominal stretch in the middle of the ring. Rosa powers out of it. They trade uppercuts and elbow shots. Rosa hits chops, lariats and a body slam. Rosa hits a big clothesline in the corner and drops on Deeb with double knees. A dropkick and Northern Light suplex gets her a two-count.

Deeb puts on the Flying Octopus Stretch and then tries to put on the ankle lock. Rosa sends her into the corner and Deeb hits her with bulldog. Rosa hits her with a Russian Leg Sweep. They trade more pin attempts before Deeb puts on the stretch muffler. Rosa softens up her knee. They both hit clotheslines at the same time. Rosa hits a diving stomp on the back for a two-count. Deeb looks for a leg lock when they start trading slaps. They roll out and crash on the floor.

Deeb hits a dragon screw on the ropes. She follows it with Deeb tox and Rosa gets her leg on the ropes to break the pin. Deeb hits a powerbomb and puts on the Texas cloverleaf. Rosa quickly gets to the ropes. Rosa hits a big roundhouse kick. She misses a knee strike in the corner. Deeb goes to the top. Rosa hits a superplex and Fire Thunder Driver to get the pin.

Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley), Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz(w/ William Regal) vs Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker) – Anarchy in the Arena Match

Jericho Appreciation Society enter first. A brawl breaks out during Moxley and teams entrance in the crowd itself. Moxley’s music is continuing even after the match has started. Kingston hits big chops on Jericho. Other brawl in different part of the arena. Jericho says he is done and is leaving. Moxley has a fork and is sticking it on Menard’s face. Mox goes to Jericho and they start to brawl.

Santana and Ortiz have taken Jake Hager to the ring. They hit him with double suplex but Hager kicks out of the pin. Bryan is beating up Angelo Parker. Eddie and Menard are fighting. Bryan is fighting Parker. Jericho breaks the soundboard to finally stop Moxley’s music. Santana and Ortiz put Hager through the table with a double team blockbuster. Garcia hits Ortiz with a piledriver on the steel steps.

Garcia is now beating up Eddie Kingston. Jericho hits Moxley with a suplex on steel chairs. Moxley throws a bottle cooler at Jericho. Eddie and Garcia brawl in the concourse now. Jericho puts Moxley in the Boston Crab on the top of the timekeeper’s table. It breaks down. Menard is walking down. Mox hits Jericho with a tope suicide and puts on a leg lock. Hager breaks the lock. Bryan attacks Hager with Yes kicks. Mox is unscrewing the turnbuckle. Hager hits Bryan with a suplex on the ramp.

Mox hits Jericho with the unscrewed turnbuckle. He hits a low blow using the ropes and turnbuckle. Eddie and Garcia are in the lift now. Bryan is using the turnbuckle as a fish hook on Hager while Mox whips one on Jericho. Jericho slams Mox with a steel chair. Santana and Ortiz set up a ladder. Parker and Menard are on the tables below it. Moxley hits Jericho with Regal knee. Mox brings out a barbed wire table. Santana and Ortiz hits splash from the top of ladder on Menard and Parker.

Jericho sprays Moxley with a fire extinguisher. Bryan and Hager return to the ring. Mox and Jericho also get in. All four of them trade shots. Mox and Bryan get better of Jericho and Hager and they start to hammer them with elbows. Bryan puts Jericho in Labell lock while Mox puts bulldog choke on Hager. Eddie comes out with Gasoline and pours it on Bryan and Jericho. Some of it get on Bryan also.

Bryan stops Eddie from burning down Jericho. Eddie and Bryan start to brawl. Mox try to seperate them. Hager tackles Mox and sends him into the barbed wire table. Jericho nails Bryan and Eddie with steel chair. He hits Eddie with Judas Effect. Jericho hits Judas effect on Bryan but he kicks out of the pin. Bryan fights back with punches and kicks on both Hager and Jericho. Bryan hits running knee on Hager. Jericho has a steel chair in his hand and Bryan hits him with running knee against the chair. Jericho still kicks out of the pin.

Bryan hits more Yes Kicks on Jericho and ends it with roundhouse kick to the head. Hager hits a chop block on Bryan with a bat. Jericho puts on the Walls of Jericho while Hager puts on ropes around his throat. Bryan passes out and the referee stops the match.

Winners – Jericho Appreciation Society

Andrade cuts a pre-recorded promo. He says he has not come to AEW to lose and AFO are all losers. So, he is bringing in a new friend. It turns out to be Rush. Andrade offers a handshake but Rush puts his fist in front. Andrade also puts his fist beside him.

Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and Dan Lambert are backstage and are happy to put the rivalry with Sammy Guevara and Frankie Kazarian behind them.

Jurassic Express(Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus)(c) vs Team Taz(Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs) vs Kieth Lee & Shane “Swerve” Strickland – AEW World Tag Team Championship Match

Starks and Hobbs attack just as the bell ring. They take Lee and Swerve to the floor. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus dives on them on the floor. Jungle Boy hits an elbow drop on Starks as Luchasaurus holds him on his knee. Swerve takes a blind tag on Luchasaurus. Starks tags in Hobbs who runs over Swerve with a clothesline.

Lee comes in and hits Hobbs with a knee. More quick action follows. Jungle Boy tags in and hits suicide dives on others. Lee catches his dive. Swerve kicks Luchasaurus and Lee slams Jungle Boy on Luchasaurus. Hobbs takes the blind tag from Swerve and hits a suplex on Jungle Boy. Starks and Hobbs work on Jungle Boy with quick tags. Starks was walking the ropes with Old School and JB brings him down on the ropes. Hobbs and Swerve tag in.

Swerve hits running forearm and elbows to bring Hobbs to the mat. Swerve kicks Luchasaurus to the mat. Starks comes in and Swerve back body drops him on the JB and Luchasaurus. Lee helps him to sprinboard on three of them on the floor. Swerve hits a knee on Hobbs. Hobbs stops a move but Swerve manages to send him into the corner. Lee tags in and goes for a powerbomb on Hobbs. Hobbs avoids it but Swerve manages to hit him with a blockbuster. Luchasaurus comes in and tees off against Lee and Hobbs. He slams Swerve into the corner and Starks into Hobbs.

Luchasaurus, Lee and Hobbs face off in the middle now. Luchasaurus works against the other two. They hit him with a double chokeslam. Lee hits Hobbs with a belly-to-belly suplex, throwing him over the top rope to the floor. Lee hits suicide dive on Hobbs, Luchasaurus and JB. Lee brings Luchasaurus in. Luchasaurus hits Lee with Attitude Adjustment. Lee gets up and they trade strikes. Hobbs flies in from the top rope and hits both of them with neckbreakers. Starks and JB fight now. Starks tries to use the ropes for a pin but Christian breaks it. Hobbs sends Christian into the steel steps. JB hits Hobbs with a dive. Starks hits a spear on JB as he comes in. JB kicks out of the pin.

Everyone starts to get involved again with big moves. Luchasaurus ends up kicking JB as Swerve ducks him. Luchasaurus is throw out of the ring. Lee and Swerve hit JB with a diving foot stomp off Lee’s shoulders. Hobbs breaks the pin. Starks hits Lee with the FTW title. Hobbs is thrown out of the ring. Christian pulls out Starks as he tries to use the title again. Luchasaurus and JB combine to hit Jurassic Express on Swerve to get the pin.

“Hangman” Adam Page(c) vs CM Punk – AEW World Championship Match

A lot of staring down from their respective corners. The bell rings and they get in each others’ face. Punk pushes Page to the ropes. They lock up again and Page pushes Punk to the corner and try to rake his face. Punk hits a chop. Page replies. They trade more chops until Punk tries to put on a headlock. The referee breaks it when they get into the corner again. Punk puts on a side headlock. Page pushes him to the ropes and nails a big elbow. They trade more chest slaps and punches.

Punk puts on a hammerlock. Page sends him to the corner and stomps on him for a few times. He hits big chops. Punk hits back with his chops. Punk whips Page from corner to corner. Punk hits a punch to the gut as Page runs the ropes. Punk hits a body slam. He follows with another one. Page catches him crossbody and hits him with a fallaway slam. A springboard clotheslines sends Punk to the floor. Page hits him with a crossbody on the floor. Page throws Punk into the barricade now.

They are back to the ring now and start to trade elbows. Page drops Punk with a rolling elbow. He hits a chop in the corner before whipping him across to the other corner. Punk reverses a whip but Page bursts out of the corner with a clothesline. Page looks for the Buckshot Lariat but Punk knocks him off the apron. Punk gets to the floor and Page hits him with a powerbomb on the apron. Page gets to the top looking for a moonsault but Punk gets back to the ring. Page hits him with a crossbody. Punk is thrown out to the floor. Page gets on the top again for the moonsault, but Punk gets in and hits him with a superplex.

Both men are down. They get up as the referee reaches to 10 count. Punk hits a dropkick after they trade forearms. Punk hits a rising knee in the corner and a bulldog. Punk hits a springboard dive. Page avoids the GTS but Punk hits him with a neckbreaker for a two-count. Punk goes to the top. Page knocks him off to the floor with a forearm. Page finally hits his moonsault on the floor. He might have injured his knee while coming down. Page goes for the buckshot lariat but it gets delayed due to his knee.

Punk takes him down with double leg and puts on the sharpshooter. Page drags himself to the ropes to break it. Punk goes for the buckshot lariat but he also lands awkwardly on the jump. Page avoids the sharpshooter by kicking him away. Punk hits him with a roundhouse kick from the apron and goes for the buckshot lariat again. Punk hits the lariat but he landed awkwardly from his jump. Punk was looking to GTS but Page tries to counter it with the same move. Punk slips out of it. Page hits a powerbomb and follows with a piledriver. Page covers but Punk kicks out of a near fall.

Page signals for GTS, inciting boos from the crowd. Punk holds the ropes to stop it. Punk hits a roundhouse kick. Page hits back with GTS. Punk kicks out of the pin again. They trade punches and elbows. Punk kicks at Page’s leg. Page hits him with a big boot. Punk also hits a big boot before Page clotheslines him to the floor. Page throws Punk into the timekeeper’s table.

Page picks up the AEW title and tells Punk that he will never have it. Back to the ring, Page goes for the buckshot lariat and Punk counters by going for GTS. Page ends up knocking out the referee as he tries to stop GTS. Page hits a big lariat to drop Punk. The referee is down and Punk is down. Page has AEW title in sight and his eyes widen up. He goes and picks it up. He asks Punk to get up. Page is still conflicted about whether to use it or not. Page goes for the buckshot lariat but Punk ducks it and counters with GTS. The referee wakes up and counts the pin.

Winner – CM Punk

Punk gets emotional as he is handed the title, almost shaking. We go to the replay. Punk hits the corner to celebrate. Punk puts the title to the mat and thanks the crowd. The show goes off the air.
