AEW Collision episode of March 30, 2024, featured two quarterfinal matches from AEW Tag Team Championship tournament. FTR faced the Infantry, and Top Flight faced Ricky Starks and Big Bill.

Thunder Rosa and Lady Frost were in singles action. Lance Archer teamed up with the Righteous to face on Blackpool Combat Club and Katsuyori Shibata in a trios match. Adam Copeland had called out for an open challenge for TNT Championship. The build-up for Dynasty 2024 PPV event also continued. Adam Copeland(c) defeated Matt Cardona to retain AEW TNT Championship. Cardona answered the open challenge put out by Copeland. The match had many near falls before Copeland finally hit a spear to get the pinfall win.

After the match, the lights went out and Malakai Black was standing behind Copeland when it came back. Black spit black mist into Copeland’s eyes. Buddy Mathews joined Black to beat up Copeland. Mark Briscoe ran out but fell to House of Black. Eddie Kingston ran out to force House of Black to step back.

FTR were interviewed backstage about their match in tournament.

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn were interviewed in the ring by Tony Schiavone. Gunn challenged White for a match next week. Max Caster said if The Gunns should leave White alone and they would also stay back to let Billy Gunn and White sort out their issues.

FTR(Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defeated The Infantry(Captain Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo) in the quarterfinal of AEW Tag Team Championship tournament after hitting the Shatter Machine.

Backstage, Ricky Starks and Big Bill were interviewed where they vowed to beat Top Flight to advance in the tournament.

Kyle O’Reilly defeated JD Drake in a singles match. This was short match with an easy victory for KOR.

Top Flight(Darius Martin & Dante Martin) defeated Ricky Starks & Big Bill in quarterfinal of AEW Tag Team Championship Qualifier. Starks was hit by a double team move at the end for the pinfall after Bill was cleared to the floor.

Backstage, Christopher Daniels issued a challenge to Malakai Black for a match on next week’s Rampage episode.

Thunder Rosa defeated Lady Frost in a singles match via pinfall after hitting backstabber and tijuana bomb.

It was announced that Thunder Rosa would face Mariah May for the #1 contender for AEW Women’s Championship. Toni Storm was not happy at first hearing about May in the #1 contender match, but then called her a genius.

Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli & Katsuyori Shibata defeated Lance Archer & The Righteous(Dutch & Vincent) in a trios match. Shibata got the pinfall on the Vincent.
