AEW Collision episode of February 3, 2024, featured Bryan Danielson facing CMLL’s Hechicero. The build-up towards Revolution 2024 PPV continued with just 4 weeks remaining in the show.
FTR and Daniel Garcia found themselves facing The Patriachy’s Christian Cage, Nick Wayne and Killshot. Serena Deeb was in action against Queen Aminata while Eddie Kingston faced Bryan Keith. We also heard from Mark Briscoe. Tune in below for the complete results and updates.
Results & Updates
Eddie Kingston defeated Bryan Keith in a singles match. A good match to open the show with both men surprising each other multiple times with counters. Eddie got the win after hitting a back fist.
After the match, Tony Schiavone came in and announced that Bryan Keith is All Elite and showed us graphic on the big screen. Bryan Danielson came out to raise Keith’s hands while Eddie Kingston was still in the ring.
We got promo from Jon Moxley after he was attacked by CMLL group on Dynamite. He said BCC read wrestling history and they have no reason not to respect CMLL and their fans. But, they must pay for disrespect.
Bryan Danielson defeated Hechicero in a singles match. The match started with trading holds before they turned to striking. They back-and-forth action continued throughout and Hechicero countered Busaiku Knee for a roll-up for a near fall. Danielson then got the pinfall with a roll-up.
Hechicero hit a dropkick on Danielson after the match and continued to attack him. Claudio Castagnoli ran out to make the save.
FTR and Daniel Garcia were interviewed backstage where they talked about being on top of the trios rankings and their match against The Patriarchy tonight.
Hook defeated The Outrunners(Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnet) in a handicapped match.
Mark Briscoe came out after being introduced by Tony Schiavone. He talked about watching wrestling with his brother Jay and this being a hard year for him. He brought up being attacked by House of Black after he helped FTR and Daniel Garcia last week. House of Black appeared on the big screen after lights went off and on. Malakai Black said that he wanted to eradicate Briscoe’s name from wrestling history and liked the magic which make people disappear. The lights go off again and Tony Schiavone is gone.
We got a video package for Adam Copeland’s Cope Open and his wins over the last four weeks.
Serena Deeb defeated Queen Aminata in a singles match via submission using the Serenity lock.
Swerve Strickland came out for an interview with Tony Schiavone. He talked about Black History in wrestling and gave shoutouts to Ron Simmons, Kofi Kingston and Athena before claiming that he would be next name to go into the history after becoming AEW World Champion. He said that he would beat Hangman Adam Page and then challenge Samoa Joe. He told Prince Nana that there would be no interferences in the match against Page.
We saw an interview from AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm on Dynamite this week after Deonna Purrazzo defeated Taya Valkyrie. She asked his butler to organize a public workout which is actually a match against Red Velvet on Dynamite.
Red Velvet defeated Vertvixen in a singles match. A short match where Velvet picked up the win with Stir Up Driver.
FTR(Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) & Daniel Garcia defeated The Patriarchy(Christian Cage, Nick Wayne & Killshot) in a trios match. Lots of action in the match which lasted over two ad breaks. After chaos in the end, Garcia countered Wayne to get the pinfall.
After the match, Garcia was staring down at Christian Cage who was on the floor with his TNT title. Christian raised his title in the air to close the show.
