Tony Khan announced that Samoa Joe will defend his ROH World Television title against Willie Mack on October 14 episode of AEW Collision. Joe’s most recent title defense occurred at the AEW All Out 2023 PPV event, where he successfully defeated Shane Taylor.

During the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, Joe announced his intention to challenge for the AEW World Championship in the near future, and he also set his aim to demonstrate why he is the reigning king of television.
Joe challenged MJF for the World title at Dynamite Grand Slam, but came out on the losing side.
Willie Mack’s most recent AEW match took place on AEW Dark, where he secured a victory in a one-on-one contest against Serpentico.
TNT title bout is also set for the show, where Christian Cage will defend his title against Bryan Danielson. Danielson earned a title opportunity by defeating Swerve Strickland on the October 10th episode of AEW Dynamite.
