NOTES & STORYLINES
AEW has been holding All Out event every year since 2019 in Chicago(except 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic) on Labor Day weekend. The 2024 event was also announced to take place on September 1, 2024, at Now Arena near Chicago. However, later in April 2024, the event was moved to September 7, 2024,
AEW International Championship Match: MJF was set to defend American/International title against Will Ospreay at All In event. PAC announced on Dynamite August 14 episode that he would challenge the winner of MJF vs Ospreay match at All Out. Ospreay defeated MJF at All In to regain the title and hence, set up the match against PAC.
Willow vs Statlander: Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander formed a faction with Stokeley Hathaway as their mouthpiece/manager. Statlander and Hathaway turned on Willow at Double or Nothing after she lost the AEW TBS Women’s Championship to Mercedes Mone. The duo continued to feud ever since with Willow trying to attack Statlander. A mixed tag team match was set up at the pre-show of All In where Willow and Tomohiro Ishii faced Statlander and Hathaway. The winner of this match would have been given the rights to choose the stipulation for Willow vs Statlander match at All Out. Willow and Ishii won the match after which Willow chose the Street Fight stipulation for her clash against Statlander.
AEW World Championship Match: Bryan Danielson won AEW World Championship in the main event of All In London 2024 PPV by beating Swerve Strickland. While he had plans to retire, Danielson said he would remain a full-time wrestler until he would hold the World title. Reigning AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry pointed out that he pinned Danielson in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing PPV earlier in the year. Perry then challenged Danielson for a title match at All Out, which was later made official.
MJF vs Garcia: MJF befriended Daniel Garcia after his return to AEW at Double or Nothing 2024. He offered Garcia to face him at All In. However, MJF became jealous when Ospreay gave him International title shot at Dynamite Beach Break special. After Garcia lost to Ospreay, MJF attacked him and brutalized him which caused him severe injuries, leaving him sidelined. MJF then beat Ospreay two weeks later to win International title. A rematch was set between them for All In. Garcia returned at All In to stop him from using the Dynamite Diamond Ring. This led to Ospreay beating MJF to win the title back. On August 29 Dynamite episode, Garcia called out MJF for a match at All Out. The following week at Dynamite, Garcia’s promo was interrupted by MJF which later led to a brawl between them. MJF smashed a bottle on Garcia’s forehead.
AEW TBS Women’s Championship Match: A fatal 4-way match is set up on August 31 Collision episode for the #1 contender for AEW TBS Women’s Championship. Hikaru Shida defeated Queen Aminata, Thunder Rosa, and Serena Deeb in this match to set up the title match against Mercedes Moné at All Out.
