Acclaimed vs Swerve in Our Glory 3 Announced for AEW Full Gear 2022

AEW World Tag Team Championship match is official for AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV event.

The reigning champions The Acclaimed(Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) will defend their titles against former champions Swerve in Our Glory(Keith Lee & Shane “Swerve” Strickland). These teams clashed at All Out PPV earlier in September and Swerve in Our Glory managed to retain the titles in that clash.

The Acclaimed won the titles at AEW Grand Slam after Billy Gunn dropped Swerve on the floor. Swerve in Our Glory defeated FTR this week on Dynamite to become the #1 contender for the tag titles. The trilogy bout between these teams will now take place at Full Gear PPV.

This week on Rampage, Keith Lee made a short work of Serpentico in a singles match. His post-match interview was cut short by The Acclaimed who claimed that Swerve has taken away Billy Gunn. Their suspicion was confirmed as Swerve appeared on the big screen with Gunn tied up in a dark room.

Swerve recalled how Gunn interfered in the last match between these teams and cost him the titles. So, he wanted to make sure Gunn does not repeat. He went on to cut his fingers so that Gunn would be hospitalized when Full Gear comes around.

AEW Full Gear will air on November 19, 2022, and two more matches are already announced for the show. Jon Moxley defends AEW World title against MJF along with World Title Eliminator Tournament final match. Keep tuned in for more news and updates.
