- This will be the 31st year that Lucha Libre AAA will hold TripleMania event which is its biggest event of the year.
- This event is overall 40th TriplaMania event as AAA has held multiple events in a year from 1994 to 1997, and from 2019 onwards.
- The first event this year in Monterrey will also feature the start of Guerra de Rivalidades tag team tournament with 2 first round matches.
- Lucha de Apuestas Mask vs Mask is also set for the card with the participants being determined via 10-man steel cage match.
