Updates on Lana; Charlotte Flair to Return at TLC?

During last night’s WWE RAW, an injury angle was played out, ruling out Lana from her tag team title match on WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2020 PPV.

Lana defeated Nia Jax in a shock result, but suffered a post match beatdown from Jax and her tag team partner Shayna Baszler. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka ended up making the save, but WWE later announced that Lana suffered “devastating injuries to her elbow and leg.” Asuka will have to find a new partner to challenge Jax and Baszler for the titles at WWE TLC.

In an update, PWInsider is reporting that Lana is expected to be off TV for 3-4 weeks. From the situation, it looks like Lana is legitimately injured but it could also just be an angle from WWE to replace her at TLC PPV.

WWE teasing that either of Dana Brooke or Mandy Rose will be added with Asuka at TLC. But there are rumors now that Lana’s injury angle seen on RAW was done to set up Charlotte Flair’s return at TLC.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action since June after losing the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House PPV. She has taken time off for a minor cosmetic procedure and is expected to be back for WrestleMania 37 buildup.
