The show starts with a vignette for Goldberg, announcing that he will be live on SmackDown for the first time. SmackDown’s intro song takes over until we switch to live scenes from the arena in Pheonix. Michael Cole and Corey Graves go through the lineup for tonight. A symphony of destruction match is announced with Elias & Braun Strowman taking on Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro & Sami Zayn.
The New Day & The Usos vs John Morrison, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
The Usos make their way to the ring first. They address Miz and John Morrison taking shots on them last week. They hype their 8-man tag team match and brings out their partners for the match- WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions- New Day, Kofi Kingston & Big E. The teams tease each other playfully with New Day hyping The Usos for being 6 times tag team champions. They tease a tense moment between the teams but its all fine.
The Miz and John Morrison come out next and mock their opposite tag teams. They try to get the crowd to start a chant for them, combining it with a dance. But all they get are boos. Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler make their way to the ramp to join Miz & Morrison. All 4 of them surround the ring on each side and try to attack The Usos & New Day. However, there will be no action until after the break.
Ziggler and Jimmy Uso start the match. Ziggler is taken to the corner by the faces. All 4 of them do quick tags and batter Ziggler. Roode tries to interfere but to no avail. Irish whip hip attacks on Ziggler. Roode distracts the referee and Kofi, who was the legal man, is taken down by a big boot from Miz at the ringside. The heels are now taking their turns to keep control over Kofi.
Kofi fights back with elbow strikes on the Miz but cannot tag out. The heel tactics of distracting the referee continues as they keep Kofi under control. Kofi fights off Morrison at the top and then his other partners. But Morrison is able to hit an Enziguiri to take him down as we head to the break.
Kofi fights back against Roode and hits a back body drop. Hot tags for Big E and Miz. Big E throws Miz with overhead suplex for a few times. He knocks off Morrison before hitting the running splash on Miz. Miz avoids the Big Ending and Morrison takes the blind tag. Morrison stops a spear but runs into Urinagi from E. Springboard kick and shining wizard from Morrison but Kofi breaks the pin.
Miz is dumped out by Kofi. Morrison hits Kofi with a springboard kick. The Usos tag in and dumps Morrison out. Roode tags in and Ziggler helps to hit zigzag/spinebuster combo, but Jey breaks the pin. The Usos start superkick Ziggler out of the ring. Roode hits glorious DDT on Jey only for Jimmy to break the pin. After some back and forth, Jimmy hits a superkick and splash to get the pin on Roode.
Winners- The New Day & The Usos
