Roman Reigns tells Joe that if he wants to say anything about his family, now is the time. He says that since he is also a Samoan, he knows what’s next. Joe admits he does and tries to take a cheap shot at Reigns, but Roman prevents him from taking the advantage. Joe attacks Roman Reigns on the outside and slams him against the barricade. He begins to brutalize the Big Dog. Roman Reigns begins the fight back and hits Samoa Joe with a Superman Punch. He clears the ring and Joe starts to go back. He asks Roman if he wants to do this match the right way but won’t compete tonight. Roman taunts him by addressing to the crowd that not all Samoans are cowards. Joe gets triggered and we will have the match after the break.

Roman Reigns defeated Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe goes after the shoulder that he injured earlier to take early control. He slows down Reigns and keeps him down with a submission move. Roman fights out but gets knocked down by a shoulder block. Joe whips Roman out of the ring and nails him with a suicide dive. He tries to do the same thing again but Reigns avoids the dive and hits the drive-by dropkick. He lines up for the Superman Punch but Joe counters with an inverted atomic drop and a senton for a two count. Joe locks him in the Coquina clutch but Roman runs at the rope and uses his power to send him out of the ring. As he recovers and Joe runs back into the ring, Roman hits him with a Spear for the win.

The Miz TV with Seth Rollins

The Miz promotes the new season of Miz & Mrs before he introduces Seth Rollins as his guest for the night. Miz praises Rollins for his win after he comes out. He reminds us that Rollins will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal title at SummerSlam and recaps the Extreme Rules’ final minutes to show us what led to ‘the predicament’. Seth Rollins starts berating and mocking Lesnar and Paul Heyman. He says that Brock Lesnar is a Seth Rollins wannabe. He was about to explain it when Heyman interrupts him.

Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman get into a verbal confrontation. Rollins tells Heyman that if he wants to talk the talk for Lesnar, he needs to walk the talk like he does. He threatens to stomp Heyman’s head in and the advocate runs away when Rollins teases coming down. Seth Rollins vows to defeat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. He also tells us that while Lesnar sits at home, he will prepare for the SummerSlam by facing the best of the best in the Phenomenal AJ Styles.

Sami Zayn interferes Charly Caruso in the party hall and insults the legends, saying that it’s like watching the Attitude Era through the FaceApp. He says that they’re not even legends – they were just THERE at the time. Rey Mysterio interrupts and says that he needs to show some respect. Kurt Angle interferes and says that when he was GM, they would settle these arguments in the ring.

Kelly Kelly is backstage and shows off her new 24/7 title to Candice Michelle, Mellina and Naomi. Melina unzips her top and she is sporting a referee t-shirt. Candice Michelle attacks Kelly from behind, winning the title. Madusa/Alundra Blayze steps in and locks in Michelle. Melina gives the win to Madusa and she is the new 24/7 Champion. As she walks away, she says that if anyone have a problem with her, tell it to her face because she won’t be the 24/7 champion for long.

Rey Mysterio defeated Sami Zayn

Zayn takes control and hits a few strikes before Mysterio nails him with a couple of kicks. Zayn trips him on the top rope into the tree of woe. Sami runs into a boot. He counters a hurricanrana and plants Mysterio with a powerbomb. Zayn avoids the 619 and tries to leave. Rob Van Dam‘s music hits and he comes out to block his escape. Then Sgt. Slaughter comes out and then the Hurricane, and finally, it’s Kurt Angle. They charge at Zayn slowly, forcing him to enter into the ring again. Rey drops him to the ring with a scissor takedown and hits the 619. He imitates RVD’s signature move at the top of the turnbuckle and hits the frog splash to get the win.

RVD and others cheer for Rey as he stands tall in the ring. The camera cuts to backstage where we see Ric Flair entering the arena in a Limo.

The Street Profits’ Montez Ford is searching for Angelo Dawkins and finds him putting eyedrops. He seems a bit hazy and says he was hanging out with the Godfather, Mark Henry, Ric Flair, and The Boogeyman backstage. He refers to smoking weed with him.

Corey Graves seems puzzled over what Dawkins was saying but Renee Young gets it. Alundra Blayze/Madusa enters and joins the commentary team. She clarifies why she said that she is not going to be the 24/7 Champion for long. She brings out a trash can and was about to dump the belt into it. But Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase enters and buys out the 24/7 Championship from her.
